We purposely visited this refuge at feeding time and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the many big cats: lions, tigers, cougers, wild cats, and pumas eat. You could get much closer to them (and still be safe) than at most zoos. There were a few non-cats also. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they loved their jobs taking care of these rescued and beautiful creatures...several of which had been abused and/or abandoned by humans.
