We stayed 2 nights in the Treehouse on property so we had a lot of time to get to know the animals. They do a great job taking care of so many. We found it to be very clean and a great place.

My only small suggestion is to sell a book with the info on the main 20 or 30 animals. The kids would love to take that to school to show it off. (Taking photos of the plaques on the cages did not work out very well.)

Thank you for all your hard work. We highly recommend this attraction.

We took the guided tour and learned many things about the animals residing at Turpentine Creek. It made it a much more personal experience.

This refuge was good, very informative as well. Most of the animals was active moving around. Found out Tigers like water and Lions don't. They were so big, and pretty not like the ones I am use to seeing. Make sure to wear the right shoes cause u will b walking on a gravel road.

My husband and I so enjoyed our visit and we are already planning a stay in the fall in their treehouses. We came for the 4:00 walking tour that's just before feeding time and the animals were active. Our guide walked us (a group of about 8) through the grounds, telling us about the refuge and the animals' stories and personalities. When they heard the guide, many cats either came near the fence or started showing off. We especially loved feeding time and got amazing close-up video of a lion excitedly awaiting his dinner.
These cats are all rescues and we love what this refuge is doing. We will visit again.
