I wasn't hesitant to visit this refuge for big cats that have been rescued from God-knows-what. In short, I thought it would be depressing. However, the facility is lovely and immaculate, and it is so obvious how much these animals are loved and how well they are taken care of. It made me wish I could write a big fat check so that they can keep building new habitats. Be prepared to walk, as the grounds are rather extensive and a bit hilly. Go to see the beautiful animals and support this important cause. It's an experience you won't forget!
