“Great exposure to the cats. Mediocre staff.”
Reviewed December 10, 2011

It was wonderful being able to see the cats up so close. The tour was disappointing. Very little was said about the difficult surrounds each car was rescued from. Most cats on the tour were described as "my Favorite".

“Awesome, I love the Big Cats and Bears.”
Reviewed December 3, 2011

This is the best experience I have had in my entire life. Everything is so clean and the staff and interns are so smart. The animals are so well cared for and the refuge can always use the help of volunteers, donations, people to spend the night in the Safari Lodging or visit on a day trip. All the money goes to help the animals and the mission. It is a WILD Experience that you will never forget.

“Go it alone are take in an event”
Reviewed November 25, 2011

The owners and staff go out of their way to make the visit a real treat.
The animals are well taken care of and feeding time is awesome.
Special events include an Indian Pow Wow, and on certain days -- fireworks.
There is always something happening there.

“Great Big Cat Refuge”
Reviewed November 21, 2011

More thsn 100 big cats majority are tigers with numbers of lions, cougars, bob cats etc. all rescued from stupid people who tried to raised a wild animal at home or from disreputable breeding mills. Animals are healthy, well cared for and the tours guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Feeding time is very interesting and entertaining with the cats being very active and aggressive. Worth a visit.
