“Wonderful Tour”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Four of us visited the Crescent Hotel on an extended New Year's Eve weekend mystery trip. Our foursome has done quite a bit of traveling together and always try to participate in a ghost tour while on our outings. Literally, from Seattle, WA to Boston, MA, I would consider this the best one. Though we took many pictures on the tour, we were not graced with the presence of a visible spirit. We did capture some orbs, both on the tour and in our room later that evening, and smelled the cherry pipe tobacco as we walked down the hallway later in the day.

Our guide, Tom, was excellent. He was not only knowledgeable but personable. We had a group ranging from young children to individuals in their late 60s. He was able to relate to all of them.

It is definitely worth your time to take this tour, whether or not you are actually staying at the Crescent. Of course, if you are lucky enough to stay there, it will mean even more.

“Loved the ghost tour!”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

It was a little expensive for 2 adults and 2 kids. However, that being said it was alot of fun. Our tour guide was great and told the best stories. The tour starts on the top floor and ends in the basment morgue. Some spooky things happened, I'm sure some of it staged but still so fun. My kids ages 5 and 8 thought it was pretty cool. The building itself is beautiful. Even if you don't do the ghost tour you can still go visit the public places of the hotel if your not a guest. You do have to purchase tickets in advance.

“You have to take the tour”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

The hotel has a lot of history and the stories are very interesting. You have to take the tour while there, you never know what you will see. It was fun!

“Not worth it!”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

My husband and I did the tour for our anniversary. Yes, it was nice to do something different and in a group but that's about it. Good story to the building and the hauntings of the building but the price was too much and the guide sped thru the whole thing there wasn't time for questions or seeing things for ourself. I wasn't impressed at all. The entire hotel is basically open to the public so I don't see why we had to pay that cost to just hear a lady speed talk. I wouldn't recommend this.

“Fun and Interesting”

This is a fun tour and a chance to see the beautiful Crescent Hotel in a different light. All of the guides are wonderful, however, Ramsey the Butler is my favorite.
