This is not a very big cave, we did the whole thing in about 20 minutes, but there are some really interesting formations and a guided tour through headsets. The whole thing reminded me of family vacations in the 1970's. Cute gift shop. Friendly service.

It felt like the place was stuck in the 80s.... Paid $7/adult for a 30 minute self lead tour.... headphones and audio recordings must have been done in the 80s..... the cave is cool but isn't breathtaking... worth the trip if you have time to waste.

We've been through Onyx Cave a number of times over the years, and it's always as beautiful as we remember. The cool thing is that it is a self-guided tour with headphones, and there is something really cool about walking around in a cavern without a guide. While there are certainly more grandious caves to tour in the country, this one is a treasure for Eureka Springs, and we'll definitely go through it on a future visit.

This was a "beginners" cave..if you have small kids, maybe a good one because it is a short tour. Self guided and not a lot of climbing, so older folks might enjoy it. We wanted to get out of the heat and it was perfect for that!
