“Very Relaxing, a home away from home”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

We had a great time and a very relaxing stay. We stayed in the "Ultimate Venice" treehouse and its actually the last treehouse at the back of the property. Very nice and secluded.

The property is beautiful, very well kept and the private gate entrance is a nice touch. The inside of the treehouse is very nice. Nice little kitchen area, King bed, very large two person Jazuzzi tub. This was nice because I am taller and was able to stretch out. Nice seperate bathroom with shower.

We also really enjoyed the deck on the back of the house. We spent alot of time there just relaxing and enjoying the nature. There was a two person swing on our deck which was very nice.

The staff is terrific. Very pleasant and flexible and accomodating.

We will go back and we wished we could have stayed longer.

At check-in we met the sweetest man name Don. He gave us all the good eating places and made us feel right at home.( I must say GOOD EATING ) As we pulled up to the gate I was amazed already at how beautiful it was and that its still in the woods but right in the middle of everything. The treehouse was beautiful and very romantic and relaxing. The deer would be out and about wondering everywhere walking down the road and eating they were not scared of anything. There is many things to take picture of from the Water Fall to all the little bears that are placed throughout. Also its very quiet to be so close to town the only things you hear are the birds and whatever is walking in the woods. Also if your looking to get married look into the wedding packages with a baby on the way and wedding planning being very stressful anyways.... it was stress free :) We just showed up and everything was done it was very relaxing. Elaine and Don make you feel very comfortable and relaxed i wasnt nervous at all. After the short wedding Elaine did some amazing Photos she is very funny and really sweet. We enjoyed the time we got to spend with them. And the Romance package more than i could have ever dreamed about its a must have :) We will be coming to Eureka Springs Treehouse again and i have already recommended it to lots of people.

Room Tip: A Santa Fe Sunset Treehouse- Is the one to stay in

The staff was warm and welcoming. We stayed in the treehouses for our 1st wedding anniversary and when we got inside our treehouse, they'd set up a banner for us that said, "happy anniversary." It was such a sweet gesture!! The staff made us feel like they really cared and sincerely wanted us to enjoy our stay. We did!! Cannot say enough good things about our experience with the Eureka Springs Treehouses. We'll be back!!

What can I say about this trip? Well to begin with, it was magical, romantic, and amazing. My husband and I really adored the idea of our own private tree house. We stayed in the Abbey Chateau Treehouse which is located in their Oak Crest area. It is very private and serene. When they designed this treehouse in particular, I would say they had romance and love in mind. The windows go from the top of the treehouse to the base of the floor so the view of the trees is just so spectacular. I had an immediate peaceful and pleasant feeling. You just feel so special being there. The town itself is a really cool place also. The shopping is eclectic, the people charming and quaint and the town has a very unique history. We took a ghost tour, hiked, and looked at all the natural springs. But mostly we just wanted to be in the Treehouse. Literally it is fantastic. We made use of the kitchen and enjoyed breakfasts and preparing picnic lunches for when we were out and about. I would 100% recommend this for any couple who wants to celebrate something special, reconnect, or just get away.

Hello, this review is for Eureka Springs Tree Houses in Eureka Springs, AR.

First thing you need to know: You pick your keys up at a Hotel. They will supply you with directions to find the Tree Houses.

Once you get to the development, there are security controlled gates to let you in. The paved road winds through the trees and the cabins lay off to the right as you drive down the road.
Each cabin has a distinctive entryway and is located on stilts in the tree canopy off a hillside.
The cabins are close enough to be seen from each other, but you won't hear or see anyone from yours.

Upon entering our cabin, we found it to be well appointed and comfortable. The vaulted ceilings and large windows let nature and the Fall Colors right inside.

The Bed was large and fairly comfortable with nice linens on it. There is a gas fireplace, which we loved and it heated the whole cabin and looked awesome. There was a comfortable leather sofa (which I am sitting on as i type this) and ottoman, so you can kick back after a day of shopping and watch the ample size flat screen TV on the wall.
There is a DVD player and a couple of movies if you get bored or want to bring your own.

There is a mini kitchen with an apartment size fridge, microwave, a few plates, silverware, etc and most importantly A BOTTLE Opener.
Our Cabin had a large Jacuzzi tub and we used it every night. Go to Bath Junkie on Basin in town and get Foaming Bath Salts. They enhance the enjoyment of the tub in a big way.

There is a restaurant up the hill, but we did not hike out of the development to eat there.

There is a trolly stop on the yellow or blue line at the top of the hill (its number 20). Go on the Eureka Transit site and you can see where the Cabins are in relation to everything else based on the Trolly Stop. We recommend getting a one day or two day pass for the trolly, its cheap and keeps you from having to find parking in town.
Also, there is a Five Dollar Limo service in town, which is easy to use after the trolleys quit running.

Back to the cabin. There is a private deck off the back with a swing and a table with chairs. Coffee on the deck was a favorite of ours. The swing was my favorite place to read and listen to the Blue Jays call in the woods. Off the deck is about a thirty foot drop to the forrest floor. The trees around are Oak, Gum and Pine. Currently (Late October) the leaves are AWESOME and very colorful.

NOTE: There are very specific instructions regarding housekeeping services and checkout

Bathroom: The bathroom here has a small corner shower, toilet and vanity. There is not a lot of counter space if you carry your face in a bag. Since the shower is tight and I am a normal size human, I will warn you NOT to accidentally hit the controls with your arm and turn the HOT water all the way on, or you WILL scream like a girl when pure steam pours all over your front side.....HOT IS HOT......Whew....I am awake now....

Anyway, here are the takeaways:
Eureka Tree Houses are Nice. Not Rustic.
They are well appointed and comfortable.
We feel very Safe here and would recommend a stay even for a single female who wanted to just get away and unplug for a weekend.
Its a little further out of the main center of town, but you have a trolly stop up the hill and many things within walking distance.

We will stay here again, but prefer the New Orleans Hotel for Convenience.

Room Tip: We only have stayed in one, but would say that they are all going to be quiet and relaxing.

After much discussion about the type of wedding we felt was perfect for us, we decided on eloping to Eureka Springs for a private ceremony. We happened upon the website for Eureka Springs Treehouses, loved the pictures and decided to go with that. We were so glad! The treehouse itself was well built with nice fixtures and very clean. The kingsize bed had a very comfortable mattress and nice linens. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, flatware and glasses for two. They even included a corkscrew. I was a little concerned if there would be enough hot water to fill up the jacuzzi, but not a problem. More than enough hot water! The shower in the bathroom was a little small, but that's hardly worth mentioning.

We decided to have our wedding on the deck and it was beautiful. We said our vows in a peaceful and serene setting with no distractions. My biggest concern was using an officiant who I had never met, but the ceremony was beautiful. Don, one of the owners served as officiant, and he ceremony was very touching. His daughter, Dawn, was in charge of the camera and she spent a lot of time taking many pictures which we will always treasure. We happened to be staying there during the "changing of the guard". Don and his wive work four months, then his daughter (Dawn) and her husband take over for the next four months. Don, Dawn and her husband were extremely friendly and ready to please. I believe we caused a little inconvenience for them as we had special requests for our ceremony and made arrangements when Don and his wife were manning the fort. Don agreed to return from his time off to handle our wedding. And all were very gracious and made us feel like we were among family.

I would totally recommend!

My husband and I just enjoyed a long weekend at the Eureka Springs Treehouses (not to be confused with other properties in E.S. with "treehouse cottages" in the name). We had a fabulous experience from check in to check out. We stayed in one of the New York treehouses and we were very pleased with it. It is beautiful inside, modern and airy, with a jacuzzi, king sized bed, kitchenette, deck that is literally "in" the woods, fireplace....it was fantastic. Privacy was important to us and we definitely found it here. We had an easy check in (you check in at the Oak Crest Cottages) and the directions to our treehouse provided at check-in were excellent. Our treehouse was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the map they gave at check-in which listed various area restaurants. Also, we liked that the treehouses were off the "main drag" a little bit so that we didn't have any problems with noise from the road (there were a lot of motorcycles around when we were there). The only downside--and the treehouse was so fabulous in every other regard that this was barely a blip on our radar screen--was that the bathroom shower was a bit small for two people.
As far as restaurants, don't miss Cafe Soleil for a wonderful dinner, and Devito's for the encrusted trout.
If we're ever in E.S. again we will stay here again, no doubt.
