The word around town was if we ate at one place make it chelseas pizzeria.. I started with the greek salad, tasted like everything had just been picked from the garden. the salad was almost a meal in itself. We had monster of an 18" gyro pizzas that fed the family with some to take home.. i would highly advise anyone that visits Eureka Springs to treat yourself.. O and they deliver till midnight on the weekends its hard to find that anywere....

My husband and I ate here on our 15th wedding anniversary trip to Eureka Springs. I was worried at first because when you walk in, you see a very smokey bar. But then you walk upstairs to the cafe. It was the best pizza I have ever had. We had a medium pepperoni with a greek salad, it was so good. The pizza was huge.
We loved this place so much that we ordered delivery the next day. We ordered the garlic bread knots with our pizza this time, and love them.
The service was great and very friendly.

(we didnt eat here officially, but a patron gave us their left over pizza on their way out, and it was pretty yummy.)

this place is like that... friendly, share-y, and honest. once you talk to people, other people talk to you. we made friends with the locals here, which is what we went for. it was my favorite place to hang out while we were in eureka. it was by far the most non touristy place to be. authenticly eureka springs.

we had spent time here twice, before learning about the cafe upstairs.. they serve until midnight, and their menu looked appealing. we totally would have ordered here if we had known about them before the cafe closed, because the communal pizza actually was pretty good, even secondhand, and cold.

i hope that doesnt make anything sound bad. it was one of those have-to-be-there things. this was just the place where we met the best people, heard the best stories, and made the best friends.

we actually stayed an extra night in eureka because we hung out longer than expected, and got bought a couple more beers than we had planned on drinking. met a really nice guy who invited us to stay at his place instead of paying for a room that night. we didnt want to impose, and we got a room somewhere in town, but we were touched by the offer. just like with the pizza... very share-y. the kind of share-y that feels like people are looking out for one another.

i never would have expected to be treated like we were, being tourists. but, by the end of our visit we were talking about moving to eureka springs, because we felt like we fitted there. thats what they say, you know... its where the misfits fit.

beer in mason jars, crooked wooden floors, and walls covered with mementos...
cant wait to return.

Sad to say, but yes, we ate here three times in one weekend. Great pizza and sandwiched. Good service. Yes, it's a hole in the wall and a bit hard to find the first time but definently worth it
