Stayed at Magic Pas Andorra for the first time Great Hotel and location. Half board great lots of different food each day always refilled regularly. Waiters always very attentive clearing plates as soon as you have finished and changing table cloths for next people. Reception staff very helpful. Great location to the slopes, able to ski every day and maintain slopes very well. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, just one little thing ask for a back room as they clear the roads with tractors throughout the night and can be quite noisy. Looking forward to going again in 2011.

Stayed at Magic this Xmas. The hotel was very nice the staff very helpful however the bedrooms were so hot had to sleep with windows open and heating off.But worse off all the food was cold, they did not have any idea how to keep the hot Buffet hot.Even when new food was brought out it was cold before it left the kitchen so the only option was salad or cold hot food.If it hadn't been for this problem our stay would have been excellent .This drove us to eat out just to get something hot to eat.Having said this it was in a great position for slopes bars etc.

what a place, top hotel, but dont expect any help with anything, you get left totally to yourself! which is fine, dont listen to anything bad about the food, as ive stayed a lot in europe, and the food here is absolutely exeptional! trout one night!! room was small but equiptment room is cool. make sure you go Paddys as they really treat you well. resort is small, not much to do when not Boardin. shops not cheap, altittude takes some gettin used to, but great snow, lifts, (and very few pommers) which is great. Snowboard heaven, enjoy..

We were a group of 12 (including 2 children) and stayed 5 nights on Magic during the Easter week. The hotel is modern and must say it is a unquestionable 4 stars for a ski resort. Guests were mostly Portuguese.
1) Rooms: good size (both the doubles and the triples), comfortable beds and pillows, always clean and tidy, basic bathroom but with all amenities needed, adjustable air conditioning, free safe box, minibar. The only exception i found were the bath towels that could be of better quality.
2) Food & Bar: nice breakfast and dinner buffet with lots of choices. Good selection of salads, sausages, hams, cheeses, show cooking, breads, desserts, beans, bacon, pastas, etc.. At peak hours can be a little crowded and the food replacement could work better. In case you're traveling with a large group like us, i'll recommend you to dine early and book a table for 7:30 PM if you want to eat at the same table and share the daily experiences. The Bar is also a great place to take a drink aprés ski or the dinner and have a chat about the mountain adventures. Note that the bar is a smoking area.
3) Complementary: free wi-fi, free ski lockers on the basement (each one is enough for 4 pairs of skis and boots), free jacuzzi, free sauna.
4) Location: PERFECT! Just at the commercial area, 200 mts from the slopes and the lifts, with a fantastic view to the Mountain. Hotel has a private parking (extra fee) but we were lucky and parked in front of the hotel. There's also a paid parking nearby.
5) Staff: the most FRIENDLY and USEFUL you can imagine! Probably the best staff i ever met in dozens of hotels i stayed before. They even prepared a cake for one of the children who celebrated his birthday during our stay. Although everyone were fantastic i must highlight PABLO at the Bar, EDGARDO and LUIS at the restaurant and ALICIA at the reception! They made our stay really special and different!
6) Overall: EXCELLENT HOLIDAY! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! GREAT PRICE!

Great hotel that really exceeded expectations given the low price. Location is really close to the slopes (much closer than suggested by some reviews). The ski lockers in the basement are about 100-150m from the main chairlift so it's only a 2 minute walk even with all your gear and skiboots on. The buffet food was fine for breakfast (the cheif will cook you eggs or omelette) but a little bland and boring for dinner. Also you have to pay for any drinks at dinner (even water). Our transfer out was at 4am and they gave us a free picnic bag with drinks, muffins, fruit etc which was a really nice touch. Room was modern and clean and had a very powerful massaging shower over bath. Other minor complaints were - we had a twin room but the 2 single beds could only be seperated a few cm due to the bedside tables being bolted to the walls. Also we were at the end of the hotel on the lowest floor and in the building next door there was a club with live gigs you could just hear through the walls on two of the nights (so ask for a high up/ quiet room). Finally, their wifi (only available in the cafe/bar and the in-room LAN was down) was very patchy and was often out of service, however there was someone testing it on the last day so it may now have been fixed.

Stayed here recently with 5 friends and was a bargain less than £200 each. For a base hotel Magic Pas is excellent. (Hotel has just changed its name and I cant remeber what too, sorry) Great location for the slopes - less than a ten minute walk. beware after a night out the steep hill can be a bit much, although to be honest after a few shandys who really cares!!

Room was plenty big enough for 6 guys and offered excatly what we needed. Kitchen was a little small and the biggest pan wouldnt fit properly on the hob!! After reading the reviews on here we were prepared for the deposit of 200 euros which was refunded no probs on the last day.

Lockers in the hotel are perfect especially if you have your own board lock coz then its free!!

Best of luck and dont go in Feb because thats when we are going back and I would like the same deal!!
