“Once in a lifetime opportunity to swim under a waterfall!”

Started out being treated to a homemade lunch complete with delicious fresh squeezed pineapple juice. Then our friendly guide led us down the well maintained path to 3 waterfalls, pointing out wildlife and different varieties of foliage along the way. Swimming in the last falls was refreshing and exhilirating. Were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the valley as we rode horseback back up. Well worth the trip to visit this family run operation.

“Beautiful experience, deep into the Costa Rican environment ...a must see”

The owners of this attraction are wonderfully nice and friendly. The cost was very reasonable and views were incredibl!!! We hiked in to the 5 waterfalls and while it isn't the easiest hike, (due to the angle of desent and back up again) it has been made as safe and accessible as possible with stairs and hand rails. Every bit of the excursion was worth the climb!!! I must have taken 200 photos! Bring a bathing suit because you can jump in the water at the base of Rainbow falls, and you .can either camp here or just stop for a bit of lunch before going down to last set of falls - The Slide. Lots of wildlife and a great afternoon. Highly recommend this hidden gem! ps. the road in to the start of the hike in is wicked, be prepared to bounce around a bit - well worth it though!

“Best part of our trip! Don't miss this”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

A buddy of mine and I went here in March 2012. My friend lived in CR for 2 years, so we had some amazing "local" adventures for about 2 weeks. However, he wasn't quite familiar with this area and we found this off a recommendation. The horseback ride was beautiful and our guide was super attentive, taking many pictures for us while we were riding and next to incredible waterfalls. These are my favorite pictures from our trip. This was worth every penny. After it was over, we had some great food cooked up for us and enjoyed a couple beers. Hands down, most memorable and beautiful part of our trip!

“Great find off the beaten path!”

This was SOOOO worth the reasonably priced entry fee and the short drive from Tilaran. The paths are well maintained and the views are amazing. Everyone in our group really enjoyed swimming under one of the waterfalls. We spent about two and a half hours here, perhaps about an hour walking and the rest admiring the views of several waterfalls and swimming at the last waterfall.

We were a group that included a large age range from baby to grandma and grandpa. Everyone was able to handle the moderate hike. Expect a steep decline and return, but it is entirely paved and with steps the entire way.

“Great Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013

At first, I was thinking the cost (US$15/person) was a bit steep just to go see some waterfalls. But it was worth it. The owners have done a great job in making each of the waterfalls accessible, but the pathways blend in and do not seem "touristy". There are several wonderful places to stop and have a picnic (highly recommend you bring a lunch for such purpose), and the waterfalls are spaced just far enough apart that there is not any serious hiking between. Yes, it is a hike uphill on the way back, but plenty of places to stop and enjoy the view. Also, it is nice to stop and enjoy the refreshing water under 2 of the waterfalls on the way back.

if you are in the area, I would highly recommend this trip.
