Wonderfully, freshly made food in a mix of fresh local vegetables, fruit and others combined with some European influence. a real oasis within Lalitpur and Kathmandu.

The moment that I stepped in Hotel Swotha, I already felt the warmest welcome by the staffs. They are friendly & very helpful. The next morning when I looked at the breakfast, I was so impressed that simple and yet detailed on the food presentation. The food & beverages were quality. We dined in for dinner. The pasta & organic ceasar salad...scrumptious. I will definitely strongly recommend this place for lodging & food to my friends. Nameste

This is an exceptional experience and not to be missed. Husband and I stayed at the B&B which is associated with the cafe. We were ten days in Kathmandu attending a family wedding and found many reasons to escape the festivities just to eat at the cafe. So did the wedding party. Ahhh, the pasta tagliatelle, the salads and the CHEESECAKE. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was a delight with friendly service, lovely atmosphere and with indoor or outdoor dining. Camille insures that the experience is just right. Lively place in the evening with cocktails, wine and good selection of beers. We will return.

Great sunny little sitting area and a nice menu. There's a loud dog next door and if he's barking, go elsewhere.

Attached to the gorgeous Swotha Traditional Homes guesthouse the restaurant had the same understated elegance and laid back vibe. It is not cheap but it is lovely simple fresh food and the desserts and cakes were amazing!
