It has been two weeks since I came back from my memorable trip to Tibet and Nepal, and the mental sight and feeling about the Fort Resort is still vivid in my mind. What a place to stay at, especially after ten days in "difficult"Tibet. Situated on the midway between the Tibetan border and Kathmandu, the Fort Resort offers a gone-by-days experience of lodging in a colonial style place. The garden design, the beautiful wooden cabins, the simple but clean, spacious and very comfortable rooms, the view through the large glass windous, and the excellent restaurant made our stay here just delightful.
Got this place through HighAsiaTours travel agency, which made a very good choice of hotels for us ,in each and every place we stayed. We have already decided for next year,to go to Nepal (again)and Bhutan, and guess where we would definitely like to stay while in the Nagarkot area? In the Fort Resort. Highly recommended!
