This is a very unique place as far as the look and feel of the building. It is very old, and it's like walking into the past. I love it. Their salads are fantastic, but the real reason to eat here is for the sweets. All of their desserts are displayed in a glass case, so you can choose what you want. It is all fresh and made by the baker they have on staff. Their peanut butter topping (on their cheesecake and cupcakes) is so good that you can't stop eating once you start. You can also special order what dessert if they don't have what you want, including chocolate covered strawberries.

The staff is sometimes difficult to read because they are always busy, but they are usually nice if you need help. I think they have communication issues with each other, and it sometimes comes off as rude. Also- if you like coffee or cappuccino, they have all kinds.

Elm Street has a down home atmosphere. It is in a building from the early 1900's. With original hard wood floors and high ornate celings. The salad bar is the jewel in this bakery. They also serve soup and sandwiches. Coffee and decadent deserts. Make sure to stop by even it if is just to get a glympse of the decor.

A very interesting restaurant with many dessert choices. The sandwiches were good, but not much out of the ordinary. The building itself is the former post office and still has much of the original woodwork, tin ceiling and fittings.
The one thing that really bothered us is that none of the staff ever smiled. It made for a weird lunch experience.
