“Perfect family and pet friendly holiday rental”
Reviewed January 5, 2018 for a stay in December 2017

Just spent a great family Hogmanay at the Old Kirk. The facilities were excellent and the weather even provided snow for sledging. The children loved playing indoors especially hide and seek. It is also in a perfect location for touring Perthshire and lovely country walks. Thanks Heleen Hope to be back.

“Great accommodation in a lovely setting”
Reviewed November 16, 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Well resourced and well set-out accommodation, perfect for a family celebration. Dunkeld only a 10 minute drive away but we spent most of the time in and around the house. Very reasonably priced given the size and quality of the accommodation. Highly recommended.

“Great holiday with friends”
Reviewed October 3, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We loved staying at the Old Kirk. We needed somewhere that wasn't too far to get to but still felt like a good break. The house was lovely, clean and cosy and there was loads of space for two families with 3 small children before us. The kids loved the play nook and the swing and climbing frame in the garden. We enjoyed a walk round the loch in Pitlochry, as well as visiting the Hermitage and when it rained we went to the Scotland hotel to swim, which the kids loved. We'd definitely recommend!

Hello and thank you for your lovely review and repeat visits. I'm always a little worried when people come back because you have a bigger chance of disappointing. Thanks also for your excellent communications and I'm pleased to report we have replaced the handle on the toilet upstairs.

“A lovely, welcoming holiday home!”
Reviewed August 15, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

I stayed here with 8 other students and had a great time. Heleen was very accommodating and helpful. The building itself is brilliant, very spacious and warm. The surrounding area is stunning and perfect for long walks or just chilling out. Would definitely stay here again!

“Perfect location for River Tay trip”
Reviewed April 18, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

What a super, converted chapel. In a great location for Dunkeld and Pitlochry. The Old Kirk has everything you need for a Scottish break, especially for fishing on the River Tay. We loved the open-plan of the main living quarters - the dogs soon made themselves at home to. Would visit again !

“Perfect for a get together”
Reviewed January 7, 2017 for a stay in November 2016

I booked The Old Kirk for a birthday weeked away, 6 adults, 3 teenagers and 3 dogs. It was perfect. We arrived on the Friday and it was extremely cold outside, everything was white with frost and ice. The Old Kirk was toasty warm and very welcoming. It's well equipped, has loads of space so you are not all on top of each other. The TV area easily accommodated us all, and was very comfortable.
The teenagers loved it too, the quirky windows in the bedrooms upstairs, all the stuff in the play area for dressing up and the games, Kitchen is a good size too so if there are a couple of folk cooking you don't get in each others way.
I would highly recommend this property for a break, it’s location is excellent and just a short drive from Dunkeld if you need to venture out.
Hope to be back in the future!
