New owners have improved the menu and the atmosphere at this traditional fine dining restaurant, which has always been our favorite. Steaks and prime rib are always good here, and the addition of grouper and fish tacos have given an old standby menu a new modern feel. The drinks are always great at one of the very few full bar restaurants around here. Ask for a table in the lounge and request Ted as your waiter, he's the best.
If I have any criticism it would be the main dining room still has a bit of a stodgy decor, a friend describes as "upscale assisted living", lol.

When this place is packed and it will get packed, you are going to wait. But the wait is worth it! I have never had a ok dish here, only one score after another. Filet mignon is excellent and my Prime Rib friends, tell me it is the best! My only problem is if you know that you are going to be packed, please staff your restaurant to handle it. Seems to me, if your staff can handle it, you'll turn tables faster and make more money for everyone.

It seems all the reviews have been about dinner, but the brunch is wonderful! On Sunday morning, brunch is $9.99. This includes a fresh fruit bar, a buffet including eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & waffles. Each week they have some specials on the buffet. The week I was there they had breakfast tacos with all the fixings - guacomole, salsa and sour cream. Also creme brulee French toast (was sooo good) & waffles with a berry sauce. And to top it off, a "dessert" tray which included croissants, sticky buns, eclairs & other home-made pastries.

Service was top notch. Our coffee (not included in buffet price) was always topped off & the server brought the dessert tray by several times. He made sure we were always taken care of.

Decor & bathrooms all neat & clean. Overall, a treasure of a restaurant in a small town. I will return when visiting. Hopefully to check out dinner next time!

Great food. Can have large crowds as not much competition in the area. Highly recommend! Steaks are superb!
