“Good Review of Walmart's History”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

This was a small but interesting museum which told the history of Sam Walton and the growth of Walmart into the mega industry it is today. It was also nostalgic in that it displayed products from the early years of the Ben Franklin and Walmart stores. There is also a small retail store which carries fun toys and candies from the 60's and 70's.

“Walmart History”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

This was a tale of Walmart from the Walmart side. It was interesting to see since you hear a lot about Walmart that's not always positive. I felt like I understood the history of the organization after seeing the exhibit.

We had fun touring this museum and store front while waiting for our table across the street for dinner. This is a trip down memory lane.....a must see on the square in Bentonville!

“walk back in time.”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

It's a fun little store, especially if you remember the '50's. The museum was interesting but long. Couldn't help but think Sam Walton's accomplishment was incredible, but Wal Mart put aLOT of 5 & 10 store out of business. That's progress ... I guess !

“Wal Mart 5 cent store Museum on the square.”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

It even has Sam's old truck that he drove on display. It has all kinds of old toys displayed and also reproductions to sell at reasonable prices. Be sure and try the Salt Water Taffy.Don't miss the wedding dress Helen, Sam's wife, wore at their wedding.
