This is a favorite restaurant of ours. I had not been in awhile and love the new expansion. I brought an out of town guest for lunch on a Saturday afternoon recently and want to share our experience. The restaurant was busy, we were immediately seated but waited about 10 minutes for service. We both order drinks, chips & salsa and queso to start our meal. The Queso Fundido is the best Queso I have eaten, it is a must try. The homemade chips are excellent and salsa is fresh. My guest and I decided to order two appetizers to share for our meal since we were filling up on Queso and chips. We ordered cheap dates and tangiers de la mesa. The cheap dates were delicious as always, this is a favorite of mine. The beef tenderloin dish was good. Loved the combination but the beef was slightly tough. The total for our meal of two drinks and appetizers was $60. Good but pricy!
