Read the reviews and they did not quite fit this place. The pool at the site does not even look close to that big, but the room was clean and the carpet fine. Joe, at the front desk, was super. The single room was small, but in good shape, showing little wear. Got a special rate of $33 plus tax so no complaints. As always, a stay at Motel 6 includes the dog. The other motels charged up to $25 per stay for a pet on top of their rate. So, yes, this is a good value, but I would rate this an average, but well kept Motel 6. Joe gave us a late afternoon room on the shady side where even the parking psaces were shaded. Appreciated that. Would stay here again for the convenience of having the dog with me and being very close to eateries.

Checked in quite late after midnight...Roy was great, top notch service...Pleasant, kind and had a smile for me...Room was confortable and clean...Bed was confortable...Nice court yard view with pool...Denny's right next door, which is open 24 hours...Which is great after a long drive...Check out was a breeze, coffee in the lobby ..Javy was just as nice as Roy...These two gentlemen really were great....It is just so nice when traveling, alone or with your family that the first impression is everything and these 2 guys make my stay great....FIVE STAR SERVICE.....

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is the old style, small and with the old style small screen tv. Room was very clean. Good to use as a base of operations for local sightseeing. WiFi is only available for an additional charge which is frustrating.

We booked online through the corporate website, for a overnight stay in July. When we arrived (very convenient to the interstate, I might add) we found out that I had chosen the wrong room type, and had only reserved one bed.

Since it was close to 6pm, the clerk asked if we could wait for the 15 minutes until 6 so he could release one of the reserved rooms that had not been guaranteed. We went to dinner and came back to find that he had changed our reservation to a room with 2 queen beds, with no problem or extra charge.

The kids played in the (small) pool for a while before bed. The beds were clean and moderately comfortable.

I would stay at this property again in the future.

Room Tip: If you book online, make sure you select a the correct room type!

Stopped late while on a motorcycle trip. Very convenient location right off the highway, with a mall & restaurants nearby. You get a 10% discount if you show the room key at the Hardees or IHOP next door. Lots of hotels around but this was the cheapest. If you've ever used a Motel 6 you know the drill, check in took 5 minutes & cost ~$46 total. Clean and adequate room, if a little worn around the edges. Cold AC, TV with cable, ok bed, & quiet even off the highway. No breakfast but they do have coffee in the lobby in the morning. Internet is $3.

On our way from San Diego to Santa fe, we stopped in Yuma for the night. It was around 11pm and most of the motels were already filled, so we were happy to find a vacancy at the Motel 6. This motel is very basic. It offers a good rate, but I think that I would prefer to pay $10-420 more for a little more luxury. The towels were frayed, the shower insert badly chipped, and the blankets were nubby and uncomfortable. I tried to sleep, but there were people yelling outside. I called the front desk and asked if they had security. I was told they did not and that I should step out and ask the people to return to their rooms. Really? Did she think that I was going to go outside in my nightgown and ask a group of yelling strangers to go to their rooms? The next morning, I took my 15 yr old dog outside. We were attacked by not one, but four chihuahuas. Yes, they are small, but I found myself having to kick dogs away from my ankles and my dog. In the end, my dog's eye suffered a small abrasion, so the cheap motel was no longer cheap, as we needed eye ointment. The price attracts patrons that apparently do not know how to behave in polite society.
