Fast food style preparation, cheap ingredients. I can't understand the draw to this place. Food was one step above grocery freezer

“Great Place for Kids”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

This was a place where the Jr. High and High School kids would hang out at. Price was good and food filling.

You cannot come to Yuma with out stopping at Mr.G's. Rolled tacos and a bean and cheese burrito for me. Yummy! oh and don't forget the salsa. Dang it's good.

“For a quick fix”
Reviewed May 12, 2011

First off I love going here. It's a local favorite. Still pretty much the same from how I've remembered it. Ha, well except for its upgraded building and normal price increase over time.

Its known for its bean and cheese (and/or rice) burritos and rolled tacos. Anything else is at your own risk. I've met others who've enjoyed their carne asada and quesadillas. They're okay, but the meat usually winds up tough and the quesadilla is pretty greasy. The tortillas are good and make the burritos worth it (as compared to the plastic taste of fast food chains) and are made daily. My recommendation is to stick with the bean and cheese burrito or the breakfast burritos (which is sold until 10:30 AM).

If you look around while waiting for your food, you may see someone drinking their salsa/sauce once their food is gone. This sauce is what gives the food its extra kick. While the price is kinda high for a small burrito, its still pretty good. You can get a bean and cheese burrito, 2 tacos, and a iced tea for around $5. Not bad if you're in a hurry.

best rolled tacos ANYWHERE!!!! Bean and cheese burritos are awesome as well. This is a family run business and family supported. We always stop by when we visit family.
