If tiny portions and cockroaches are what your looking for, this might be the place for you, if not go any where else. rude wait staff, tiny high priced portions. Stay away.

Time and lack of tourist traffic has over the years apparently taken its toll on this once decent restaurant. Unless you are willing to put up with dirty menus, cheap furnishings and the whole fraying-at-the-edges ambience of Brownie's, I'd skip going here. It once had charm and character but that disappeared when the interstate stole its clientele, years ago.

Most of the food is very bland and unexciting. More than half the customers appear to be older gents just drinking coffee and passing the time. The entire place does need a general makeover, however I would not count on it happening soon. Bottom line: Skip Brownie's and head either to the 16th St freeway interchange or further north along 4th Avenue for better choices.

Traveling through Yuma, we wanted to find a nice, friendly, inexpensive family restaurant. Wow - what a find! Bev and the crew were awesome! Our family of 5 sat at the counter, and enjoyed a no-frills breakfast that was great. Kids enjoyed Mickey Mouse pancakes, that were topped with whipped cream and looked a lot like Mickey. Scrambled eggs and hash browns were authentic diner style - not fancy, but good. Staff is very friendly, and our kids loved the experience. My son said, "Even if you go in with a bad mood, you come out happy!" And, we all ate until we were filled, and the total bill was less than $25! So glad we passed up the chains, and found Brownies. Looking forward to our trip home, so that we can visit again.

This was a favorite of my grandmother's. It has been many years, but their Chicken in a basket and Sundaes were really good back when.
