We boarded the Sternwheeler at Fisher's Landing and were immediately greeted by "Captain Loyd" and his hostess "Cheryl" they welcomed us aboard, and we promptly headed to the upper open air deck as it was a beautiful day and picked out a table. Our journey was heading to the Imperial Dam. The Captain narrated the journey along the Colorado river sharing historical facts as well as local tales and legends, it was fascinating and educational and done in such a professional manner. We even got to see a Golden Eagle. The boxed lunches were served on the journey back up the river, and were amazingly delicious, prepared locally by the restaurant located Fisher's Landing. Refreshments were available on board as well.
