I was not ready for such a great hotel experience. Every room has a living area and bedroom, each with a big screen TV. The downstairs rooms all have a hideaway in the living area. The bathroom is accessible from both rooms so sharing a room with kids still has some privacy.

The second floor has a walkway/balcony that surrounds the entire center courtyard which is the star of the show!

The Courtyard is amazingly well kept and like it's own destination getaway. You could honestly stay here and enjoy the pool (clean) and sitting areas as a vacation spot. Never leave the hotel! There are palm trees, walking paths, a gazebo, and even 4 gas grills for any guest to use. All very shady and very nice!

Wifi is free but we had a hard time connecting, no problem though, there's a network cable in every room with really fast speeds.

Every day is a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee (and more). Every evening from 5-7 is happy hour with free drinks including Budweiser draft or Bud light draft, wines and spirits! Monday through Thursday they even throw in something to eat. Wednesdays are my favorite, they grill burgers and dogs! This is all FREE to guests!

Several of the folks I work with staying at different places here (some name brand - high priced places) have been over and wish they were here!

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. what more could you ask for. And the price was right!

Room Tip: All the rooms face the courtyard accept the very corner rooms. Downstairs has hideaway beds in livin...

This is an older motel that has been updated. We had a large, well-lit room with pleasant decor, comfortable sofa and chair, flatscreen TV, microwave, and large mini-fridge with freezer. Storage space was sufficient. The old AC unit is noisy but effective. The bed was very comfortable, but we woke up a few times in the night to make adjustments to the AC. We appreciated the sink area with plenty of counter space, separate from the toilet/shower room. The showerhead was good and there was plenty of hot water, but the tub backed up. The breakfast included several so-so hot items, but I couldn't stomach the processed omelet. There was also a selection of breads, sugared oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. The grounds and pool area are lovely. We would stay here again.

I read reviews and decided to book- i was not dissapointed! I was impressed, got for great rate due to AAA and had superb service - best out of 4 hotels on our journey; charming grounds, fabulous pool due to its size which has a deeper end and shallow, heated as well. Gated pool in central courtyard & is surrounded with lounge chairs and covered cabana to provide shade, only dissapointment was the jaccuzi/hot tub not very well heated same temp as pool. Within walking distance to great shopping and dining; JC Penney, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Marshalls, Dilliards, Cracker Barrell up around corner. Denney's next door for those who want more for breakfast other than what offered with complimentary at hotel (which was good and bit more than typical continental breakys). We had king bed room which was nice & close to pool, spacious with microwave and fridge coffee maker. Fairly central locale overall to sightseeing things and easy access to highway mostly; not one to make recommendations but would def. for this place; next time we come to Yuma this is where we will stay.

Room Tip: If want close to pool ask for main floor level

As others have mentioned, this hotel is centrally located within walking distance of a variety of restaurants. The breakfast is very good and the happy hour was a pleasant bonus. As we are AAA members, we got a great rate of $69 per night. (You need to have the AAA book with you and show the ad to get this rate)
The pool area is well landscaped - a tropical oasis and includes barbeques.

My wife & I stayed here for 3 nights the first part of Mar. 2012. We found the hotel to be very well located just off Hwy. 8 within walking distance of a large shopping area and several restaurants. The staff very always very pleasant and helpful with the usual breakfast items and the nightly happy hour was a nice bonus.

We stayed here for three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast caters to a variety of tastes and includes a hot buffet. The happy hour is a real bonus, as it gives you a chance to visit with other travellers and get advice on what to see and do in the area. It is conveniently located - Just a nice walk to a variety of restaurants. It is obvious that many people stay here for an extended length of time, and I can certainly see why!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the La Fuenta. Several of the guests must stay for 2-3 months at a time. They are very posessive of the swimming pool area and they place items on most of the tables that are in the morning sun so that none of the other guests can use them (even though nobody is at the tables). One of the long-term residents told me I could not sit in a certain area because his wife was coming down later! I was furious and will probably not stay there again unless they can get their guests under control.
