First of all, the receptionists at the hotel (no name tags) were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating (I needed a room change). But there were some concerns for me, even though the upgraded room was nicer. First of all, large roaches seen. Then, walking from rug to bathroom left very dark footprints on the floor in the bath. It is clearly a worn out motel needing an update or a wrecker's ball. The bed covers are worn and even torn. But it is cheap, so caveat emptor! The Knight Inn, as other motels in the area, is a sleeping spot for dove hunters, a unique sports culture indigenous to these parts. Kinda funny to see warnings in the motel to : NOT use towels to clean your doves, and don't dress birds in bathroom sinks, etc.
the pool was non-descript and the continental breakfast consists of packaged buns and muffins, with coffee, tea, or two juice types from a dispenser.

Dirty office. Unprofessional help. Tiny room. Left a make up mirror. It was found, but when a friend went to pick it up they can't find it after THREE visits. They won't answer their phone. Weak coffee, only some plastic wrapped cheap pastry for the continental breakfast. Will NEVER stay here again. Wyndham should remove it from their chain!

We just needed a clean room to sleep in; checked in at 8pm and left at 7:15am.

Room 129 was really small! A King bed crammed into the room with barely 20" walking space between box springs and TV console. But we were only sleeping there, so dealt with it.

The bed was comfortable. I brought my own pillow as usual. The bathroom floor was sticky (from too much floor cleaner?) but the towels were fresh-smelling. 2 light bulbs in bedroom were burned out (maids obviously don't check). I did not notice any stains on the carpet.

If you are just sleeping for one night on a budget, this wasn't too bad.

Stayed at the Yuma Knights Inn what used to be the Yuma Palms Inn very nice clean rooms although small service was good pool and hot tub good. If your looking for a very cheap stay this is the place to go. Breakfast was coffee and rolls nothing much but there are so many places to eat in walking distance and location from the airport is convenient.

Room Tip: Room second floor above checking building

We booked this hotel based on a "secret hotel" booking on HotWire. After completing our booking and finding out the name of our hotel, I immediately checked TripAdvisor for reviews. There were many mixed reviews, but some actually referred to remodeling so I was mildly hopeful. What we found when we walked into our room still makes my skin crawl. Our room was dumpy and small, with the beds shoved up against the wall and the other against the air conditioner just so there was a 3 foot aisle between the beds. The carpet was so dirty with unidentifiable staining that I wore my shoes every time I needed to walk to the bathroom, which also had a dirty floor. The bedding was dated, although the sheets 'looked' clean. The towels were threadbare and did not look very clean, although more to staining than not actually being washed. Our refrigerator door didn't close properly due to the ice build-up and broken seal. The housekeeping didn't bother to remove a used pair of ear plugs left behind from another guest. The best thing we could do to make this experience tolerable was to go to bed and hope nothing crawled across us during the night. We were up and out of there by 7:30 a.m. just because we wanted out! I did not dare complain after reading other reviewers who had very unpleasant experiences after asking for something or speaking up about the accomodations. After checking out the pitiful breakfast (pre-packaged muffins or donuts was our choice, and there was only one package of each--not going to cut it for a family of 4!), we walked down the street to McDonalds. My family winters in Yuma and I told them to NEVER recommend anyone to stay in this run down property!

Room Tip: Others have referred to 'remodeling' and some traveler photos look vastly different than the...
