“Territorial Prison State Historic Park”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2012

Spent a couple of hours at the Park and found it OK .... Nothing to get too excited about. There was staged gun battle going on when we were there and did not get too much out of it. We ate on the premises and found it quite expensive. If you like history it is OK.

“MUST SEE don't miss this great historical site!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2012

This history and artifacts at this old prison is very fasinating for all ages. After the time this was a prison it was a school and Yuma high School still goes by "The Criminals"!! try to go during one of the many special events with re-enactors to make this even MORE interesting!! You can spend an entire day there but don't miss the cemetary!

“Scenic, fun bit of history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2012

It sounds a little funny to check out an old prison, but this was actually really interesting and well worth the $5 entrance fee. Lots to see and experience and great views from every part of the prison, especially the watch tower overlooking the desert and the Colorado River. Staff are friendly.
