This was such a find, we had traveled to Yarnell to pay tribute to the Granite Mountain 19 Hotshots that were killed fighting the Yarnell Wildfire on June 30. and after we went to the memorial we stop in for some lunch. The Ranch House.

We were welcomed like we were family and the food was terrific, the hamburgers $7.25 were home made, not pre-made patties, home made pies, and plenty of fries and shakes to go.
Christmas decor was still up and there was a lot of it . The waitresses were friendly and just plain fun,.
Obviously this was the "Place", they greeted almost everyone that came in by their first name.
This town is still healing and needs your support, The Ranch House was nearly lost in the wildfire, 19 Hotshots gave their lives and as you look west out the front windows it's hard to believe that 19 young died a stone's throw from where we sat.

We stopped in for a lunch visit here & were really impressed. The server was really friendly & did a great job. We started with an order of guacamole & thought it had great flavors. I LOVED the enchilada sauce here. I was just super impressed & wish that the restaurant wasn't so far away- wow!
We will stop back in if we are going through town again when they are open. They have limited hours, so be sure to check the website...I think they close at 2pm & are closed some days, so again just double check. It was well worth a visit though & we will return.
While in the area, be sure to visit the monument to the fallen heroes in the same parking lot. The tragedy was awful, so anything you can do to help this community seems appropriate.

As you crest the Yarnell Hill climb you will see a mecca for food, the Ranch House Restaurant. We have lived in the area for over ten years; the food and service at the Ranch House have been consistently excellent! Shelly and Steve (owners), as well as their staff are very congenial hosts and will make the effort to ensure your return. They have daily specials that are always great creations worth ordering. The quality and quantity of the servings make for great a great value (we usually have to ask for a box to take for what we can't eat). The atmosphere is rustic with memorabilia throughout. Your friends will appreciate being part of the experience.
