This restaurant is everything they say it is. AMAZING. I had the trio, which I expected to be too much. It was perfect. Stop reading the reviews and just GO.

We could eat here forever! The dining room is enchanting with beautiful stained glass windows, charming chandeliers and windows from which to watch trains. The food is AMAZING, locally sourced as much as possible. We especially enjoy the Signature Soup--sweet corn and black bean with red chile cream. Be sure to put in an early order for the Chocolate Souffle! And don't miss the bread pudding for breakfast. Ask your waiter about purchasing a copy of the Turquoise Room cookbook--and Chef John Sharpe will sign it--and you can recreate the delicious meals at home. Our servers have always been perfect--this last time, Nathan, I believe, was so good with our toddler granddaughter. An enchanting place to enjoy a fabulous culinary treat!

The Turquoise Room is located within the historic La Posada Hotel; very convenient if you are staying the night, as the bar and restaurant are just steps away from the rooms. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here at different times, and every single time has been memorable. The chef greeted us this time, and seated us. I don't know if it would be possible for him to remember us from our last visits, but he is very warm, welcoming and helpful. The menu is divided in an interesting way; Southwest, Traditional, etc. and comes with excellent descriptions of what each dish consists. Our waiter was very helpful in our wine selection, and the French red that we selected from an outstanding and comprehensive wine list more than met his recommendation. Suffice to say that everything we ordered was amazing, and unfortunately, this time, we did not have room for dessert -- which, remembering from past occasions, was terrific! Oh well! Next time! Being from Tucson, we have made La Posada and the Turquoise Room a destination for special occasions, well worth going out of your way to get there! We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is like a hidden diamond. I would say a secret but more and more people are learning about it and it's harder to get in - despite being located in Winslow Arizona. La Posada itself is a cool building and hotel and then to have amazing food in the Turquoise Room is like icing on the cake.

We heard about the restaurant from friends and made a point to drive the two hours to Winslow to try it. This is a fun place to dine and hang out - lots of other things to see and do while you are in the area as well.

If you are traveling through Winslow, AZ to the Meteor Crater or the Petrified Forrest - be sure to stop at the Turquoise Room in the La Posada Hotel. It was the last Harvey House Hotel/Restaurant built on the Santa Fe Line in 1929. The hotel and the restaurant are restored and worth a visit even if you don't dine. The food is world class and the price is reasonable. I don't know how it came to be that such a place can make a go of it in grim dying town in the west, but it is must see in my book. Two minutes off the I-40 freeway on main street (old Rte 66).
