“good value, clean room”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2014

We stayed in one of the 2 corner rooms, room #200. Room was clean, bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom had all the usual parts, clean enough. The hotel is only 2 floors, and the room below is a maintenance room so this room doesn't adjoin any other rooms. Nice and quiet. Price was good - close enough to the Grand Canyon without being expensive.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are nice and quiet.

The first thing you notice in this dump is that the rooms smell bad, are very small and crowded and the bathroom is dirty, with hand prints on the walls and rusting fixtures. There was no bathtub and you could barely turn around, it was so tiny.

The second thing you notice is that there are no duvets or comforters on the beds, just a thin, slippery "decorative" sheet on top of a thin blanket. What? Too bad the heater/air conditioner sounds like a blender turning on every ten minutes and is right next to your head, good luck keeping warm if you have to turn it off to be able to sleep in peace.

Also keep in mind that is NO insulation between the rooms. You will hear every word spoken in the rooms adjacent to yours, and if you try to complain, the front desk will tell you that those rooms also complained about YOU.

Don't expect any sympathy or refunds after your horrible stay. They don't care at all. The staff is rude and unfriendly. This place deserves to go out of business, and I hope they do... Soon.

We stayed there for one night 2 days after a large snowfall. The temperatures were below freezing at night. We arrived approx 1900, checked in, and went to unload. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and chipper. We get into the room, which is rather small, and crammed with 2 double beds, and immediately then on the outdated heater/AC unit. It heats fine, but then got too hott, as there was no happy medium. While unloading, both my husband, and I slipped and fell on the massive sheets of ice on the pavement. There was no salt/sand/gravel down to aid in its melting. When I told the desk the next morning, he said someone was coming out, but seemed very uninterested at my comment and brushed it off. In the shower, I there was a thick, black hair sticking to the side of the shower wall. I rinsed it down easily, but that was even more upsetting. I was the first to shower and I have a family of blonde/red heads. Come on Travelodge.... I was disappointed.

Room was priced right, it was pretty clean but very out dated. Heater was quite loud and ran a lot. It was close to the down town shops and restaurants. The breakfast was a little lame. It is a little ways to the Grand Canyon but close enough to stay for a couple of days.

We ending staying for two nights. The motel was really central to all of Williams shops. It was really a good stay for the Grand Canyon, only 2 hours from here. The staff were really friendly. A basic breakfast but was ok. The accommodation was bright and clean. It was cld when we stayed and they gave us extra blankets. The only down was our wifi wasn't very strong.
