As soon as we arrived I was pleased with how nice & pleasant the owner was; the property is fairly small with not too many rooms, which makes the trip from your car to the room very short and the feel of the property as a whole, somewhat intimate; the indoor Jacuzzi was a big surprise.

Our room stood alone-nice because there were no rooms to either side, but not so nice that it is directly above the Jacuzzi and anytime it's on, you can hear it buzzing the room and quite loudly :-( after peeking into a few of the other rooms, I was happy that our room had a newer, flat screen HDTV with HDMI ports, whereas other rooms had older, tube TVs, HOWEVER, I also noticed that other rooms had a table (much needed for eating in the room) whereas our room DID NOT have a table.. We were forced to eat sitting on the edge of the bed, with our knees squeezed closed to support a paper plate-this was NOT cool and I’m docking major points over this one! Other than that, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable!

This property is located at the end of small but sweet Williams, AZ, old town/downtown that is.. We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend and after we checked out, we got to enjoy the town’s MDW Parade that came marching down the street, right in front of the hotel.

For visiting the Grand Canyon, this property is located 54 miles away! This means it’s a 45-60 min drive EACH WAY/90-120 min ROUND TRIP! So for the price-it’s cool, but if you value your time whatsoever, opting for lodging in Tusayan, AZ is a MUCH BETTER option, as it is just 5 min away from the South Entrance of the Grand Canyon. Not to mention that driving back at night time is no fun if you’ve had a long & tiresome day hiking the canyon, and now you have to drive back cautiously because the roads are surrounded by deer just waiting to dart across the road and ruin your car & trip!

So driving up to the hotel I didnt know what to expect. However, as soon as I walked into the lobby my feelings were turned to positive. The lobby is newly renovated, there is a newly renovated patio, and it just looked like it was really being cared for.

Once we got into the rooms, we found the rooms were very clean. Bathrooms a tad small but very functional.

Only 2 feedback points.

I stayed in room 104, and the view from the window is the near-by neighborhood. If a wall was built to block the view, even a wood wall it would look better.

Put sheer curtains behind the thick ones. I wanted sunlight to come into the room, but didnt want anyone walking by to be able to look in

We were pleased with our two adjoining rooms, which were clean, comfortable, and adequate for a short stay. The bathroom was small, but the shower was good. We enjoyed using both the heated outdoor pool and the indoor jacuzzi. Free breakfast was available, and the choices include toast, cereal, muffins, and mini doughnuts. At the time of our stay, the motel was refurbishing the outdoor patio and indoor area to make breakfast more pleasant. Williams itself was a surprise, and we enjoyed two good dinners and fun shopping. We particularly recommend the Air Museum, on the way to the Grand Canyon, and Bearizona, almost right next door to the motel. Both activities were much fun for my 10 year old granddaughter and her dad.

We did not have any problems with our two night stay here. We drove to the Grand Canyon each day we were there, which was an easy 40 mile drive or so. We stayed in Williams because it was much more affordable compared to hotels closer to the Grand Canyon. We did not explore the town very much, but Williams seemed like a cute, small town. The room was typical, nothing terrible and nothing special. The bed was comfortable and everything seemed clean. The free breakfast was very minimal (cereal, toast, coffee, juice, muffins) but fine. If you are looking for something affordable, relatively close to the Grand Canyon, and not fancy, then I would recommend this motel.

Perfect for my one night stop to the Grand Canyon. Good average price. Room are super clean, a little tiny but correct for one night. good location in the town of Williams, walking distance of restaurants and bars. Breakfast can be better, no fruits, just plain coffe, two kind of cereals, little donuts and plain pan. Staff was friendly. They are making construction in front of the office, for making a seating place for breafast.
