It's a great location that is on the way to the Grand Canyon. The people were very friendly and the price is very reasonable, plus you get breakfast!

This was the most uncomfortable bed! You could feel the springs through the mattress. We ended up putting the bedspread under our bottom sheet but it didn't improve comfort by much. The bathroom sink was crammed into a small space by the shower wall and had no towel bar. We paid $79 for this place. At least it had free breakfast.

Visiting the grand canyon and needed a place for the night. Clean rooms, very nice staff. It is a motel so you are not getting every amenity in the world but you get a decent bed, vclean bathroom and the three people we have met that works here have all been very nice. They had placed the shower soap bar in a folded up washcloth by the shower. Just not something I was expecting from a motel and just showed that they care a little extra.

Would stay here again as good value for the money.. Could stay a couple of nights as within walking distance to "downtown" Williams..

Travelling from Las Vegas into Arizona, was a bit of a shocker...In the morning you check out of the bellagio, in the evening you check in at the econo lodge! :) The hotel is very basic, but that is what you get when paying 60$ a night. We tried the best western and some others, but they were all 30$ more expensive and honestly, as long as the room is clean, the beds are comfortable and the people are friendly, we are happy. We stayed here for three nights and it was the perfect hotel for a roadtrip. Breakfast is served untill nine and consists out of sweet donut like rolls. A big plus was the free internet in the lobby. We did not encounter that in any other hotel in the U.S.
The hotel is located at the route 66, so a lot of bikers are coming through Williams. They have to sign for the fact that they will NOT use hotel towels to polish their bikes...;)
Williams is a great location if you want to visit the grand canyon and also want a good price and value concerning your hotel room.

Stayed in Williams Az for 6 days --- The folks ( Hugo and Vicki ) were just terrific -- very pleasant, and helpful -- The rooms were clean and the cleaning crew came in every day, changed towels, cleaned up and made the bed ( guess they didn't like the way we made it ) but no gripes --The motel was very busy all week long, in fact busier than any other in town --Would liked to have a little larger breakfast menu but Numerous restaurants in town two very good for breakfast and JD's coffee shop for a espresso is steps away and this motel is very lucky to have the Iron Horse Saloon right across the street -- Great dining, food is terrific, drinks reasonable and the folks there were just super, show your motel card and get 10% off your bill, Oh and there is a band called .44 Rimfire that is just great too -- everything within walking distance --- and thanks for the great weather !!

Great stay at this Econo Lodge in Williams!! Service was outstanding, and the room fit the needs for us. You come to this area to see the Grand Canyon, so we came back very tired, and the room got warm fast, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. Located across from restaurants, bar, and down the street from more bars, dining, and shopping. Will definitely be back!!

...but not too good. Really "blah"- I checked the bed (I always lift the mattress to check for bed bugs in the seams and linen and pull the headboard off the wall to look behind it) and it was clean. I also ALWAYS drop the blanket and beadspread to the floor- The rug was kind of dirty- The bathroom was new and clean. The drain did not work too well in the shower. The TV remote did not work well. I don't know why northern AZ has so many dumpy places- With all the tourists going to the Grand Canyon one would expect nice motels. The town itself looks really "down at the heels"- Would not stay here again. They do take dogs for an extra fee.
