Americas Best Value Inn - Williams / Grand Canyon

Used this motel for one night only. Small double bed in Williams small room. Linen was clean but shower and bath area was grubby. No tea or coffee maker in room. Thin walls make for tv and neighbour noise. Breakfast nothing exceptional with weak coffee tasteless pre made waffles and no microwave to make warm oats or cereal. The lady in the breakfast room hung around as if to watch the food and quantities being consumed. Bless the manger who did his best to direct US to the grand canyon because of government closure but we failed. Bless the senators for helping us miss the trip of a lifetime but most of all my heart goes out to the innocents who are losing financially. There are lots of accommodation in Williams . Sorry econolodge but you must try harder

One night stopover for trip to Grand Canyon. Lady on reception was very helpful for information on Grand Canyon sunset times and directions so you could plan early departure. Price was reasonable, room was a little outdated and not the cleanest but bearable. Motel was quiet but be aware of bar opposite playing live music. Also a train comes through town at about 2am with horn blaring so be prepared!! Motel is on Route 66 so that was bonus. Lovely Irish/Mexican restaurant on opposite side of road.

Room Tip: Ear plugs for 2am train!! ....I left at motel 04:30 for sunset 06:18 at Grand Canyon and only just...

We were driving through to visit Grand Canyon. This was perfect. The people checking us in we're pleasant and helpful. The hotel is old and the price was reasonable. Rt 66 was fun and the restaurants had good food. We ate lunch at cruiser cafe 66 and they were so nice and friendly. We ate dinner at station 66 and again good food. Both places had outside seating and a live musician.

Stayed only one night, very kind service, loved the location (just two steps across there are tipical western style bars), flat screen TV and a decent breakfast.
A little noisy because probably very close to the road.

This is a very dated motel. It was passable for just passing through, but overpriced for the quality of the accommodations. We stayed here during the 4th of July weekend and the town and motel was full of tourists. My first impression during check in was very positive. The lady at the counter was very personable and efficient. No problems with either the check in or check out. The room itself was disappointing. I would guess that nothing had been done to update or upgrade the accommodations since the day it was built. For the amount of money I spent, I would have expected better. Because of the holiday weekend, the motel was full. The area to eat breakfast was a tiny room off in the corner of the complex - too small to accommodate the number of people. We ended up eating on a rickety plastic table set up next to the parking lot. While in a pinch I would stay again, but it would be far down the list of choices.

The lady, that checked us in, was very nice. She was kind enough to let me use her computer to make a reservation, in order to get our Farm Bureau Choice Hotel 20 % discount. She was helpful with restaurant suggestions. Our room was very nice and clean. We would stay here again.

I've stayed in a few Econo Lodges and this one was by far the oldest. The floor creaked and the bathroom was extremely hot no matter what setting you had the air on. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was in walking distance to fun Route 66 attractions and restaurants. The continental breakfast had waffles, pastries, oatmeal, watermelon, and cold cereal. All in all, this hotel was the right price for our quick stay.
