“Nice Stop near Grand Canyon”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Easy access from freeway, parking for cars pulling trailers and or RVs. This is a perfect stop for exploring the area. Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, great full breakfast service. The steak restaurant had good food and excellent service, lounge area, and seating around the fire pit outside were an unexpected gem. The hotel and surrounding area felt very comfortable, no problem for a girls trip to hike and explore the Grand Canyon, good for couples and kids. If traveling with kids I would walk to the Dennys at the bottom of the hill for dinner or order in a pizza, as the restaurant was good but a bit pricey for families. Have fun and safe travels!

We booked the Best Western in Williams due to its location and the recommendations on Trip Advisor, and weren't disappointed. Although the property is starting to show some age and could use a mild face lift, it was still a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We went down to the lounge the first night to listen to the live music. The performer, Omar Mondragon, gave an enjoyable and very eclectic performance, ranging from Eric Clapton and Sting covers to traditional western songs. Lacey tended bar, and was very attentive and professional. The front desk staff was always positive and helpful. We were less enthusiastic about Housekeeping, and found their resupply of the room to be inconsistent. The drive from the hotel to the Grand Canyon took slightly over an hour, and was no hassle at all. The property is easily accessible from Route 66 or Interstate 40. Forget the high prices in Sedona or at the Grand Canyon, or the crowds in Flagstaff and select the Best Western in Williams, You won't regret it.

Room Tip: The 2nd floor area north of the hotel lobby is quiet and convenient,.

Just typed the 'Best Western' into the GPS and was only looking for somewhere to spend the night and we found this little gem! The rooms clean and comfy, the restaurant in house served fantastic food and to top it off free entertainment in the lounge... The Chef was super friendly and chatted to us at the table, as did the singer after his set. STAY HERE !! We loved it!

We booked this hotel because there were no openings closer to the Grand Canyon. Well, frankly, I'd say to anyone going to the Grand Canyon, skip the hotels in Tusayan and stay here. The hotel is modern and very pleasant. There is a restaurant in the hotel, although downtown Williams is very close. The room was quite nice, the exercise room was modern and had good equipment, the staff was friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was good. Overall, a real win!

I always feel comfortable when staying at Best Western but this one was the best ever. We were traveling with another couple and one had asthma. The hotel does not have an elevator and the steps was hard and after 1 night I asked if we could be moved to the 1st. floor. There was no problem and the staff wanted to help us get moved. we were there for 3 days during the government shutdown and they had other attractions as well as directions printed at the desk. They were so helpful and friendly helping us and making sure that all our needs were met. The continental breakfast was great with a good selection. The location was convenient to the places we wanted to visit. Be sure to visit the town of Williams...It is fun to. Most important the hotel is clean both inside and out. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stay here. Good value.

Room Tip: If you have any disabilities ask for the 1st. floor. The hotel does not have an elevator.

I stayed here over the weekend to visit Bearizona and the historic Route 66 in Williams. It is super close to everything. Has a Denny's next door. 62 miles from Grand Canyon. I also brought my Yorkie to the hotel ($25 charge per pet). Had an outdoor firepit. It's nice.

Spent one night here and glad we did. The town of Williams is a great place to visit. But could be noisy if you stay in the downtown area. The Best Western Plus is a little up the road, but QUIET, Surrounded by woods. The hotel's lobby is very welcoming with a fireplace decorated with Indian artifacts. There is a Steakhouse Restaurant and lounge equally beautifully decorated. The kachinka dolls are very interesting to look at. Breakfast was hot and consisted of waffles, sausage, eggs and cereal. Coffee is served all day long. On Thursday - Sunday there is entertainment in the lounge. Very relaxing....Oh and a firepit outside to sit around. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Included Large TV refrigerator and free wifi. Coffee pot in room . This hotel is one hour from the south rim of the Grand canyon. Very Nice and would book here again! There is also a guest laundry and a place to print your confirmation numbers to any of the Grand Canyon tours or your plane tickets
