We arrived at the BW Plus Inn of Williams coming from the Grand Canyon. The hotel is located outside Williams approximately one mile from the town boundaries going west when coming from the canyon. The location is very nice, in the middle of a pine forest on a hill. The hotel building resembles a wooden lodge and is very welcoming.

We were greeted by the registration desk and immediately given a room on the second floor (the hotel only has two). There is no elevator, but this wasn't a problem for us (it may be though for somebody with limited mobility or a lot of luggage). The room was very spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and a nice and roomy bathroom. The amenities in the room were above average. The location was also very quiet and we enjoyed a good night sleep without any noise.

In the evening the hotel offered live music in the nice bar close to the lobby, where the breakfast was served in the morning, too. The breakfast was without doubt the best we enjoyed in a Best Western hotel. Served on china and with a great selection of food. The staff during breakfast was the most friendly and helpful ever.

All in all we can only suggest to anybody staying in Williams to stay here. Just keep in mind that you need to drive to get to town.

Room Tip: take a room on the lobby floor if you have mobility problems

Whether one had a long day of driving or an exhausting, but breathtaking day in Grand Canyon N.P. - the hotel and staff do everything for one's relaxation and recovery. The hotel has a great ambiance. The breakfast is excellent. The sleep comfort is superb. Room, bath and hotel location are all in the PLUS category.

After staying at over 15 different BW during this past year, I have finally stayed at the BEST!! The arrival and check in was smooth and easy, the young lady who helped me was the best that I have had the pleasure of having. I found out later that Alma is the Front Desk Manager, and I was impressed with her smile and easygoing attitude. She will go a long way in the hotel business. My room was very nice, but what I liked was REAL coffee mugs and REAL glasses, not the typical paper and plastic cups that I have always got. The bed...... was the BEST I have ever slept on, I had to get on my toes to climb in. The owner 's touch is every where, the Lounge is called "The Kachina" because there must be 50 or 60 Kachina Dolls on display there and in the hallways. The restaurant serves Great food, and there is even a gentleman who sing and plays the guitar. All in all this has been my best experience.

After days of dreary motels, this was a relief. The entrance hall was lovely & our room very comfortable.
The restaurant is a café a hundred yards away. I don't know if it is open in the evening. The breakfast we had there was fresher & more appetising than most US buffet breakfasts with helpful staff. It is quite big place with the food rather spread out so it wasn't until we left & it was too late that I saw the fruit bar. Pity.
The hotel bar offers a limited range of quite nice food but all that dark wood makes it a bit grim & depressing - like a 19th century men's club.
There was a huge & impressive oil painting (?) of a train to admire.

Very Nice. Wish all Best Westerns were this nice. Very clean. We had quick service and friendly.

Beautiful setting among the Pine Trees. Quiet. We had a big room with a living room area w/couch, chair, end tables & coffee table. Clean. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of parking.

The Breakfast Bar was very nice as have a restaurant on premises and evidently use their cooking help. Scrambled eggs (freshly done), sausage, biscuits & gravy (really good), several waffle irons so no waiting, and all the other amenities with room to move around and get what you want. And large eating areas, so no claustrophobia like most places.

Did not eat a meal at the restaurant, but did have dessert and it was excellent!

A live guitar player and singer were a nice touch. Not too loud, very relaxing after a day of business.

Nice Pool & a workout room, but did not use.

Overall, a very nice stay & experience. We will return.
