We specifically looked for a "route 66" period property. This motel was nicely appointed, and attractive. It was somewhat small, but very clean. The only 2 items I would mention were the lack of a table for laptop use or eating, and a tile entry which protruded well above the carpet, presenting a potential trip hazard. Front desk service was efficient and genuinely friendly. Check-in is across the street at the Downtowner, however this did not present any serious inconvenience due to short distance and low traffic volume. Quaint, attractive little town, which would probably qualify for a longer stay.

Back East, Rodeway is considered the bottom rung of the ladder, with the "clientele" usually being transients, prostitutes or welfare cases.

Don't let the chain name fool you. As has been mentioned many times in previous reviews, this hotel is clean and comfortable.

Hotel is owned by the same people as "the lodge" situated across the street. In fact, we checked into the front desk of the Lodge.

We came back after dinner to fine about 25 Harley Davidson's parked in the parking lot. (We thought we were surrounded by a biker gang traveling through town) but it seems that a tour company that rents out Harleys was using the lot in the off season. Didnt particularly like the bikes being fired up in the morning, but the annoyance only lasted a few minutes.

Higher priced that your typical hotel of this size/category, but you're in a tourist town.

This is a wonderful property with a friendly staff. Felt like we were staying with good friends. The hotel has been beautifully upgraded and is very clean with extremely comfortable beds and pillows. As this is an older building, the rooms are small being your standrard vintage Route 66 size hotel room. Size aside, the place is very well kept up and well worth the stay. If a larger room and/or theme room is desired, we learned that the same property owners own the property across the street..."The Lodge", which is an upgrade to the Rodeway Suites. You cannot go wrong with either location depending on you budget. The outside seating areas and the fireplace pavilion where a nice extra to enjoy the beautiful cool evening. And the location for shopping, dining, and taking in the tourist sight seeing events can not be beat. The staffs recomendations of what to see and do where 100% right on the money. This hotel will remain high on our list when our travels bring us back to Williams.

We stayed here for a night on our way out to the Grand Canyon and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were nice and clean and there was a large flat screen TV. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. It is a great place to stay on your way out to the canyon.

An old fashioned Motel but the rooms had been updated including having a large flat screen TV. It was clean comfortable and perfectly adequate with a reasonable continental breakfast.. It is on Route 66 and only 6 or 7 minutes walk from the Train Depot where we got the train fort the Grand Canyon.

Room Tip: Ask for a room towards but not right on Roure 66 to avoid the noise of passing trains on the railroa...

This was a great stay. The rooms were redone a few years ago, and while small, they have nice furnishings and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a bit more than the "continental" they claim. Staff was friendly. We will stay again.

Be aware that there is another Rodeway in town and you do NOT want to stay there. Its slightly cheaper but is old and run down. Its only a few blocks away so make sure when you book, that you get the right one!
