Check-in process: We had to check in at the office across the street. It seems that there are two areas to this hotel. The lady was friendly. The office has limited evening hours but there is a number that you can call in case of emergency during the night. This number is a direct line to the management staff who live on site.

Room: A bit small but clean. The decor was chic. It was overall comfortable.

Breakfast: Not a hot breakfast. There were individually wrapped pastries available and bread. There were toasted available for your use. The breakfast was held in an outdoor cabana. There was no attendant seen around the breakfast area.

Internet: We had trouble accessing the Internet from inside our room. On the check-in sheet, it was noted that wireless internet was only available near the offices and in the cabana area. We sat inside our car in order to get the wireless working as the signal was very poor inside our room. The internet was a bit slow.

Parking: Free for guests. YOu can park right outside your room which is convenient for loading/unloading luggage.

Overall: The stay was okay. The stay was a bit more expensive than a reguar Rodeway Inn location probably because it was close the Grand Canyon. The "cold" breakfast and poor access to Wifi were disappointing parts of the stay.

This hotel is a gem! My first impression of the outside when we arrived after dark was a little skeptical, but once we got checked in by the very friendly staff and opened up the door to our room it was heaven! The rooms are very clean and updated with modern furniture and comfortable bedding. Nice flat screen tv. Breakfast served across the street in an adorable outside cabana. Even though it was a little chilly in the morning, there are outside fireplaces and space heaters so that it was very cozy. The location was great too... just a short walk from downtown stores and restaurants (go to Red Raven, the food was delicious!) Would definitely stay here again!!

Don't let this place fool you. The exterior might be eh - and the management is across the street, but we opened the door and it was like a room from the city was dropped in the middle of nowhere. The bed and linens and art were chic, the place was clean, the whole room was remodeled to perfection. Also, we went in January (note to all, there is NOTHING open. Maybe one bar but no food after 8) the manger was really helpfull and highlighted everything. We left there and showed up at the Grand Canyon at 6 am and it was amazing. Starving? yes. Starving for chic accomodations at a cheap price so close to a natural wonder? no.

My husband and I were on a trip with friends from Australia. We decided to stay in Williams, about an hour from the Grand Canyon Village. The hotel is located on the Route 66 loop in an historic part of Williams, off the interstate highway. The motel is across the street from The Lodge on Route 66 and they share the same outdoor patio for breakfast. The updated rooms were very nice with flat screen TV, granite counters in the bathrooms, coffee makers in each room, and great bedding and towels. Would definitely stay here again. Good restaurants and lots of Route 66 memorabilia on the Loop.

The outside as you pull up might give you pause, but the rooms are clean and updated. They are small but adequate. Our room with 2 queens had small refrigerator. The other room of our party had 2 rooms each with a queen and its own bath. There was no fridge there. My father felt his a/c unit in his room was too loud. Ours was a bit noisy but faded into the background and drowned out any outside noise. My kids were freaked out by the warhol marilyn monroe paintings on the wall and i had to cover them with pillows, but i liked them enough. There are a lot of wireless singals available - the hotel one is not broadcast but you can enter the ID and it appears. The breakfast had no milk for the kids and thus no cereal, but juice and coffee. The fresh fruit was limited to bananas. The rest was bread and baked products - some packaged - and yogurt cups. The location is good in williams and you can walk up and down the street to restaurants, the street show shoot out, and lots of shops. At check in the young woman was helpful in suggesting things to see - like bearizona and sedona.
