“Comfortable and relaxing winter experience!”
Reviewed December 24, 2011

Bill and Gloria provided a festive decor with the B & B decorated inside & out for the holidays.
My guest room had its own gas fireplace, and was very warm & comfortable. The food was excellent, and conversation with the other guests and the hosts at breakfast was delightful.
Bill & Gloria generously accommodated my need to check out at a later than usual time, and even offered to drive me to my next (near-by) destination. Their generosity and hospitality is heartwarming. Their home is decorated with art they have collected from around the world. Bill gave me a tour of the rooms that were common areas and guest rooms that were not occupied, telling me about the various pieces of art and their origins.

Suggestion to grandparents who are participating in the near-by Polar Express experience with their families: if you want to have a restful night's sleep, join the kids and grandkids for the train ride and the dinner, and then retire for the evening to the near-by Grand Living Bed & Breakfast. I can say from experience that you will sleep more soundly and comfortably.

I will be recommending this B&B to friends who visit the Grand Canyon area.

Owned and run by Bill and Gloria - they have a zest for life, worldly experience and created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere at this great escape about an hour from the South Rim. The place feels like home including most of the things many of us forget! Hairdryer, plenty of lotion for a dry climate, razors, Qtips, cotton balls and make-up wipes in every room - just in case! So no need to worry when you pack.

Every room has a private entrance via the wrap-around porch so you can comfortably come and go without disturbing others.

Fellow guests are as interesting as the hosts and make for interesting breakfast conversation as you plan your day.

In terms of closest airport, we came up from Phoenix though heard that Las Vegas is shorter and that the new bridge over Hoover Dam is worth the trip! We also heard that Fire Rock just outside Vegas is a worthy stop on your way out of town.

We are already planning our next trip!

We enjoyed two nights at Grand Living B&B. It exceeded our expectations- Not only the cleanliness of their home but the decorations and special touches. Nothing was overlooked, every detail was thought about. The food was wonderful. Gloria and Bill were accommodating to special requests. You MUST stay here! We will be back and want to spread the news about this gem in Williams, AZ

We stayed 2 nights in Gloria and Bills lovely home. Stunningly decorated with pieces collected from around the world, spotlessly clean, romantic, just a perfect place to come back to after visiting the Grand Canyon. Glorias home cooked breakfast of blueberry pancakes and apple french toast, sausage, eggs, fruit sooo good, keeps you going all day!! I could have stayed for a week!

My husband and I stayed here for our Grand Canyon trip. We stayed 4 nights at Grand Livinf B and B. The rooms were spotless, lots of attention to detail, peaceful and romantic. Bill and Gloria were the perfect hosts! Gloria had travellers "emergency" items in the bathrooms and the atmosphere was sumptious! Breakfasts were delicious and always served with Bill and Gloria's company with all there knowledge and directions of the area. They provided us with ideas and information for a wonderful stay.

My wife and I recently spent 4 days with Bill and Gloria at Grand Living. It was as the name states "Grand Living" indeed. Bill was amazing in helping us with reservations for rafting and Grand Canyon helicopter ride. He was so helpful on the phone when I called him from Atlanta, that I trusted him completely and he did a great job setting our itenirary before we arrived. When we arrived, we were greeted by Gloria and immediately felt like she was part of our family. Bill later arrived and we hit it off immediately. The two have really found their calling. Breakfast was fantastic every morning and Gloria even packed us a breakfast for our 6am departure for our rafting trip. Invite them to eat breakfast with you and you could not ask for a more lively meal.

Lots of innkeepers make great breakfast dishes and make you feel more like a family member than a guest, but Bill and Gloria are exceptional. Their enthusiasm and joy of life is really contagious. Should you need a place to stay for your trip to the Grand Canyon, this is the place.

Thanks again Bill and Gloria for being part of our vacation this year. We will be thinking of you often.

You're going to adore this place! We recently stayed at the Grand Living Bed and Breakfast, as we were doing media coverage of the HOG Motorcycle Rally, in Williams. Many fancy the notion of owning a B and B, but few really seem well-suited to the calling. The owners of the Grand Living are a wonderful exception! "Gloria and Bill" exude such warmth and charm. They are lovely hosts overseeing all the details that make for a memorable, comfortable stay. Having often lived abroad, they are oh-so-very gracious with their guests from around the world, and have decorated their space with eclectic art and furnishings from their international travels. The entire property is tidy, and both homey and elegant. We enjoyed their pretty and delicious breakfast with the other patrons, and I got a sense of the nice clientele they attract. The location couldn't be better for jaunts to the Grand Canyon, or sight-seeing in the Williams area. (Check out Goldilock's pals at Bearizona, just down the road.) Gloria and Bill often make the needed arrangements or give advice for tourism and restaurant reservations, as requested by the guests. Our experience with Grand Living was exquisite! Enjoy!
