Was on a package trip with Grand Canyon Railway and train got me back too late to get out of Williams. Didn't want to stay in the Grand Canyon Railway property again, although very lovely, a bit over my budget and more of a "chain," luxe beyond my budget. Found this hotel and glad I did. Great hospitality and comfort, a bit quirky in a charming way. I had room #8 with a private bath, which had a charming clawfoot bathtub that had been repurposed from a planter in a neighbor's yard, per the owner of hotel. Loved how they repurposed a commode in my room to thoughtfully have tissues, a battery operated candle and clock on its "counter." Much appreciated close-by amenities. Very quiet, although I stayed on a Saturday night and town, for Williams, was hopping. On arrival, I was graciously welcomed and told which rooms were available and allowed to go and look to choose! A nice young man carried my bags up to my room for me. Hotel is the oldest operating hotel in Arizona. Right on the main street, close to all the "action." Only discordant note were people talking very loudly at 5:30 am who were checking out I guess, could hear their voices up in my room and woke me up. Be great if guests could be reminded to keep voices down, they carry. But otherwise, I would highly recommend this place.
