Situated at the main street this hotel has the perfect location in Williams, with walking distance to restaurants and shops. The hotel was built in 1891 and contains a genuin old-fashion charm. Rooms are not luxury
but very charming and genuin. The hotel provides social areas at the ground floor. The staff is very nice and have a personal attitude towards the guests. If visiting Grand Canyon, this is the place to stay at.

Staying here for 2 nights. The Rooms are fine but checking in was a mess. this is a Great hotel if you are taking the train to the grand canyon! I would stay here again for its location and as long it's a good deal like I got this time.

OK, it's old. But that was the best part. The hotels location is ideal, an the management could not be any nicer. During this trip we stayed in a lot of hotels and none of them made us feel this comfortable.

It's definitely not one of those air conditioned big business hotels but it has lots of charm. The rooms are smaller than a lot of places and some of the rooms don't have their own bathroom/shower. It is a one of a kind place that you go to have that home feeling. Floors creak when you walk on them and give to the whole small town old fashioned type of living. We stayed for 2 days and it was very restful even in June when it was very warm. The hosts and other people in the hotel were very nice and had lots of fun talking to others that were staying there. Always more fun finding out about where others are traveling from and going to, and finding out other places that we may visit later.

Room tip: Make sure your room has a private bathroom/shower. Some of the rooms don't have a private bathroom/shower.

When I booked I was looking for somewhere central for the railway station and Route 66.

The hotel is reputed to be the oldest in Arizona and is furnished in the old style.

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown some rooms, and as we like a view, we chose room 8.

Arizona was experiencing record temperatures, and although cooler than Phoenix, it was very hot and we missed aircon!

Although quirky we enjoyed our stay.
