Stay here. Period. Williams is quaint and the KOA is a great value. The Safeway is a good value and the kids loved the pool and spa! Showers clean and very friendly staff. Quiet and calm on April 8th. Snowing though...

After a long day on the road, it was nice to be welcomed with a genuine smile. The lobby area was warm and clean with a variety of helpful items as well as nice souveniers. The coffee bar was clean and well stocked...coffee was awesome. The grounds were well maintained, the bathroom and shower areas were clean and stocked. The pool was closed. But then it was January and very cold. The play area was also well maintained. Check in and out was easy and efficient. The staff was knowledgable about local sights and suggested places of interest. We will most definitely be stopping again. Thank you Kathy and staff for an enjoyable stay.

This was the worst KOA we stayed in. We rented a cabin but left after 1 day. Reason was mainly the terrible bed! Even putting the matresses of the double beds under the twin beds didn't help. It was like sleeping on wood. Was it in the middel of nature...no 50 metres of a Gas station with sounds of loud car radio's from people stopping there.
Staff told us you could get your second hot water yourself but instead of helping someone else shouting at us to go away from the machine. In the evening we bought two beers to drink on the terrace of the shop in the middle of the camping... We had to put the beers in a bag to go outside and were not allowed to drink it with cans seen even on their own terrace.
Swimming pool was closed because of sand in pool.
Wasn't there something good? On the camping their is a couple that sells some food/barbeque. Nice folks and oke but don't expect anything special.
Public bathrooms and toilets are good spacious and clean

I found this campground to be an excellent koa campground. Nice sites, well stocked store, wood fires, clean pool and hot tub. I stayed at four koa's at this was my favorite. It is also near the awesome town of Williams az route 66. We saw a cowboy shot out and had a good diner. The people at this campground all seemed real nice...maybe it's the canyon location.

Liz, Thank you for your stay and for your review. Rest assured that we will do all we can to continually ask the gas station next door to keep the overhead music turned down, especially at night. In addition, please call us at 928-635-2307 so that we can address the firewood disappearance. We want to ensure that all reports of this kind are followed up on by our management team. Thank you for your stay, and for you review. We hope that you will join us again.

We originally booked a one-room Kabin for two nights for our visit to the Grand Canyon. When we arrived, we discovered there was a slight mix-up with our accomodations... but that resulted in excellent customer service that offered us an upgrade to one of their deluxe tents.

Our kids loved the place... they swam in the pool, got smores one night, watched part of a movie outdoors, bought souvenirs in the gift shop, and thought the tent was so fun!

Only two bummers... the hot tub was only warm and didn't seem to have any significant jets. And instead of large, separate restroom/shower facilities for men and women, this place had too few individual-style restrooms (1 sink, 1 toilet, 1 shower in each) that didn't seem to get frequent enough cleaning... resulting in often having to wait for your turn.
