If you're in the area and want a break from the boring natural vistas such as the Grand Canyon ;-) , why not get your picture next to a big plastic Barney Rubble! Seriously, it's great fun and very well managed. It's very basic and won't keep you occupied for long but it's still a good laugh and a great photo opportunity. The cafe isn't up to much though and i probably wouldn't stay in the caravan park area either.

We visited the flintstone's bedrock city in Williams, Az in July. Admission price was $5 per person. My children loved it. It is a little play town. It is a little run down but it was a lot of fun. My children was so excited running from place to place. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was worth the money.

They of course attempted to make everything look like it's from the stone age, but after not being cared for properly it really just looked very run down. In order to get to the diner you have to go through the gift shop with years of dust to the other end of the building. As worried as we were with first impressions, when we got to the diner there was a roaring fire and friendly locals. The woman running the diner was very accommodating, the prices were certainly a welcomed sight. Drinks were all 99 cents and none of our breakfasts cost more than 4 dollars. We weren't expecting to get much for that price, but the portions were just as much as one would expect at Denny's. The quality about the same as Denny's as well. Not fine dining by any means, but a great, filling breakfast for super cheap was a welcomed surprise to us!

After spending a few hours with our kids at the Grand Canyon, we thought we'd leave the park and go into town for lunch. When we drove by Bedrock City and saw that they had a restaurant, I kinda laughed about it, figuring that the pricing would be inflated, due to the fact that it was a tourist attraction and the only one of its kind in the area.

To our surprise, the prices were AWESOME! Beverages for a buck, fries for about $1.20 and a decent sized burger with fresh condiments for around $2.25. All cooked to order, nothing premade or under heat lamps. Prices on the kids menu were excellent as well. I get so tired of being gouged at chain restaurant for kids meals that run around $6 and never get eaten... although I can't remember the price at BC, I do believe it was under a $3, including the beverage.

Although the interior was a little dark and outdated, and you had to pass through a gift shop which, I will admit, was a little pricy, the restaurant had a large fireplace and provided a nice and warm retreat from the frigid temperatures outside.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was great for the price! Filled up four of us for under $18 without having to endure the torture of another fast food restaurant.

My wife and I stopped in the parking lot on the way back from the Grand Canyon. It definitly looks like it needs paint and repaving of the parking lot. Still, very cute and classic Americana.....
