This is an excellent motel. As previous reviews, the rooms feel more like a hotel. Very spacious, comfortable, clean and modern. The breakfast had a good choice. Staff very friendly cannot do enough for you. Excellent value and location. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for two night whilst visiting the Grand Canyon. We booked because of the low rate and the location, and were positively surprised! This motel is better than must of the HOTELS we have stayed at along Route 66.

Pros:
-Cozy lodge
-Nice staff
-Free wifi and parking
-Clean
-Rooms are spacious
-Rooms doesn't look like they're in a desperate need of an update. They are standard.
-Small but good breakfast.
-Location
-White towels.
-Two queen beds in the standard room.

Cons: None!

Would love to stay here again.

Love this hotel! Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, staff is friendly! Would definitely stay here again! Enjoyed a free wild west show right across the road and my 5 year old really enjoyed it. No pool, but had a list of activities at local public pool listed in room

Great place to stay in Williams, we spent there just one night but the rooms are very cozy and clean and breakfast was fine. Staff was friendly and they helped us in finding something to do (we stayed there during the National Parks shutdown unfortunately).

The quaint Western period town of Williams priding itself on being the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon"', the Lodge is an excellent base of operations for Grand Canyon explorations from nearby without hitching up at the more costly (and older) Rim accommodations.

It is especially convenient for those wishing to enjoy the unique Grand Canyon Railway round trip ride since the Train's Depot is located right in town, just a block or so from the Lodge.

The newly renovated, centrally located Lodge rightly touts itself as a superior motel experience ....it's design is in the classic single story mold, fronting a dusty main street (but adorned by a parking forecourt fireplace cabana) - in this case, the historic Route 66, but the interior amenities are distinctly more ambitious: solid plank flooring, comfortable wood furnishings, big screen TVs, travertine bathrooms, thick bathrobes, etc.

We booked a couple of nights at the center-situated Executive King Suite whose 500 square feet encompassed an inviting Living area with big screen TV; a small Dining area with a 4-stool dinette, microwave and wet bar; a welcoming bedroom with plush high pillow top bed and a cosy fireplace nook with big screen TV; and a capacious 2-counter all-travertine bathroom with oversized tub and separate shower and toilet stalls (which do need better lighting and heating). The suite is featured on the Lodge's website, for your curious preview.

Complimentary breakfast is served beside the Reception Lobby with standard fare of fruit, juices, hot beverages, toast, preserves and assorted pastry. Front desk service was friendly, flexible and helpful.

All in all, uniquely non-standard accommodations within the classic motel format.

Room Tip: Scale up your motel lodging experience by spending the extra penny for one of the Suites.

Stayed here on route 66. neat little motel . Seemed to be well maintained and clean, beds comfortable. Free breakfast . My wife and i said we would stay here again when we come this way in the future . Neat little town with a shootout in the street for entertainment in the evenings. Very clean little town
