“Good Route 66 Diner & a Brewpub -- All in One”
Reviewed June 9, 2010

As Route 66 roadies, we were torn between several interesting choices for dinner in Williams one night in early May. We chose Cruisers because of the lively scene we saw there on the outside patio, and inside the Route 66 themed diner ...... and because we are also brewpub aficionados. So with the related Grand Canyon Brewery next door, this was a "two-fer" -- both a brewpub and a Route 66 hotspot at the same time.

We were not disappointed overall -- great Route 66 environment, with a nice gift shop attached. We both had the pulled pork sandwich/plate. Food was good, but not great (like you'd get at a specialized BBQ place). Service was okay, but not the best -- our server simply had more than he could handle (he was very busy) -- but no matter, we were not in a hurry to leave.

Altogether, we had a good time there, and would recommend to Mother Road travelers looking for a Route 66-era experience. We should also mention that we received some special attention from the owners, and were very nicely treated, when we inquired about brewpub souvenirs.

“An Unexpected Stop & Epic Diner Experience”
Reviewed June 4, 2010

I drove through Williams, on route to the Grand Canyon in Nov '08, with my best friend- the drive from LA took longer than we thought, and we happened to drive past Cruisers 66 Cafe just at that point we both realised we were starving!
It's very kitsch...but I love that. I am normally very wary of places I don't know, but I trusted this place.
We must have spend a good couple of hours in there, having late(ish) night burgers, and looking around the gift shop.
To cut a long review short, my best friend and I left agreeing that we had just been served quite possibly the best burgers we have ever had...

“If you want bad food with ambience, this...”
Reviewed June 3, 2010

If you want bad food with ambience, this is the place. If it was not for the previously frozen french fries, I would be starving. We just finished a long day in the Grand Canyon, thought that with the late hour dinner here would wrap up a great day, We Were Wrong! Being after 8 pm with 10 year old boys, we order burgers & split them.

Burgers came out to fast to be fresh, cheese didn't even melt. One burger had the wrong cheese, and when they fixed it, they didn't bring it back with fresh fries. They left the original ones that came out with the wrong order. Then after we cut them in half & dug in, half way I found raw meat inside, how that is possible when the buger looks charred & hours old. They gave us 10 percent off for the issue.

A waste of time & we should have stuck to the original plan of pizza.

Get your meal elsewhere.

“What a great spot!”
Reviewed May 26, 2010

The sun was shining. A singer was singing and playing guitar. We were sitting at an umbrella table on Rte 66 with microbrewery beer in hand. It just could not get any better.

“A diner with good diner food”
Reviewed May 20, 2010

As we were dining in a retro style diner here, thought we'd go something simple with a Pulled Pork burger and Chicken club. Both were generous proportions with a whole chicken breast in the club. The pulled pork was a little too sweet for me, but very tendy and as described like a Sloppy Joe's.
