The place is decorated very cute and it is big on atmosphere for Route 66. There is a smoker going out front that makes you want to go in due to the good smell, however when you get up close to it there isn't any food in it, just wood. They make their own beer, so you have to tell the server what you usually like to drink and he tries to match it for you. The food was average. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw tasted like it had very little dressing on it at all, and the fries were just frozen, not fresh cut. The pork was good, but it didn't have any smoked flavor to it, and there was a very small amount of barbeque sauce on it. My husband ordered the brisket platter, and he didn't like the slaw either. He said the brisket was good, but not as good as what he makes on his own smoker at home. He also had beans with his meal and he seemed to enjoy them. Neither one of us were crazy about the beer, but it is sold in 6 packs and other trendy bottles for gifts. The servings were large and both of us left food on our plates. It was OK, and I might go back, but I wouldn't make a special effort to go there.
