We ended up in this place because the restaurant we planned to visit was closed.
It was very busy outside but quite quiet inside. We chose to eat inside because there were an awful lot of mosquitos about and I am No 1 target! Loads of R66 memorabilia and many taking photos.

We were served quickly by a pleasant waitress. The food arrived in good time and was very good – we both had the burgers and they were tasty but portions were not overly gererous.

I think I would have preferred the ambience and atmosphere of sitting outside so we were a bit unlucky.

Recommended.

We visited this place on a busy Friday night and the staff was only able to seat us inside. We had the BBQ rip which was really delicius. Although the restaurant was busy, our food arrived really quick. This place has a very nice atmoshere as you expect, everything is about route 66. And if you go there make sure you visit the toilet :)

If you want to go have lunch in the past this is a fun place to go. You can sit indoors or out to enjoy your burgers and shakes. Even the music they play is indicative of the era.

Genuine Route 66 memorabilia made in China. That's what's printed on the bottom of the Coke napkin holders. But the limited menu is good and the service is excellent. I was part of a group of 25 photographers who were in Williams to photograph the Grand Canyon the week it was closed. As we were already disappointed it took a lot to get us in the mood. We were in three different vans and staggered our arrival times to give the wait staff a break. Our waiter was very attentive and we had fun mocking the false "original" Route 66 atmosphere. Burgers and brisket were the main menu items with BBQ sauce that was touted with pretty good reason. All in all a fun meal.

On a recent visit to williams, the decor of the resaurant caught my eye (nearly poked it out actually) the massive mural on the outside wall depicts the 50;s to perfection, we took seats on outside tables where we could watch the streams of motor cycles cruising Route 66,eventually,we got the waiter to notice us and took our order, the food came and it was the largest burger i have ever seen, it looked like a desperate Dan cow pie,a french tourist on the next table ordered a sandwich and nearly fell off his seat when it arrived, if it had climbing ropes attached to it then he could have started to eat it from the top, all in all it was a very pleasant experience, never will it be michelin rated but, it is on Route 66
