The food was good and warm once we received it; however the service was terrible! They are known for their pies, but were out of numerous "flavors" we asked for. We asked the waiter what he had and he said, "there are to many for me to list"; however, each time we asked for a flavor.....it wasn't available! We chalked it up to possibly being a new server along them being busy on a Saturday night so decided to give them a try Sunday morning for breakfast. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! It took and hour and 20 minutes once we placed the order to when we received our bill. The service was even worse Sunday morning. We asked four times for hot tea. It finally arrived when we were finished with the meal. The food is pricy also.

We stopped by here for Breakfast on our way out of town. This is a great "country feel" restaurant. I ordered a country breakfast, and everything was great! Our server was wonderful and even asked us about our recent travels and offered help with additional travel recommendations. I felt at home here! Must go for breakfast!

Whilst the staff were friendly we really have no interest in going back. Think it's the first time we have ever left food in an American restaurant because it was poor. Didn't try the desserts, were not prepared to go any further! Not cheap either.

After eating lunch at another restaurant, the owner suggested that if we wanted great pie that we should go to the pine country restaurant and I'm glad he made this suggestion!
The cookies and cream pie was fabulous!
The staff we friendly and attentive.
You couldn't beat the value for the price, two cups of coffee and a huge slice of pie for $10.

Have had some mixed experiences eating so far this holiday so this place was a breath of fresh air.
Good simple food, my son loved his steak, we all liked the soup that the meals came with and add charming service with great value and you have a winner.
Pleasant interior, quite busy for early in the week and the pies will make us return tomorrow! Also, it may be a small thing but genuine bottom less refills on soft drinks is a first for this vacation.
You won't be disappointed here.
