“Spectacular breakfast”
Reviewed November 17, 2011

British friends were looking for a Route 66 experience, and we found a great one. Goldie's made the best pancakes ever! Light, fluffy and delicious. Fun atmosphere, great personal service, and an endless cup of good coffee. Wonderful stop on the way to Grand Canyon.

“a nice joint to enjoy a meal”
Reviewed November 9, 2011

This restaurant is on Route 66 and is decorated with that type of decor. The food was quite good and the prices reasonable. The large windows make it easy to follow the goings-on in Williams and to enjoy the tall trees and surrounding nature.

“This is an epic disaster of a dinner choice...”
Reviewed October 7, 2011

We wanted a historic diner along Route 66 while visiting the Grand Canyon. It was late and we walked in with only 1 other table occupied. We weren't immediately seated...but finally were told to pick a table ourselves. It was another 7 minutes before we were asked about our drinks. The cook and his girlfriend were in an unprofessional discussion the whole time while the other employee who was the cook's grandma was obviously overwhelmed by the people trying to use a credit card to buy a piece of candy (it literally took over 30 minutes to final their purchase and for them to leave). The people that were in there when we arrived ended up walking out by the time they got their food b/c it was cold/tough. We ordered the same thing, but stuck it out to give them the benefit of the doubt. Our's was hot (except for the mashed potatoes), be we heard the microwave several times before they sent to the food out. Breakfast at this place may be a better option.

“Wow - best meals since we left home 3 weeks ago.”
Reviewed October 5, 2011

Amazin' - wife had a ham and cheese omelet that was out of this world, the potatoes were fantastic and her potato soup tasted like mom's! My chili and corn break was delicious - amazing. An old Denny's off of Route 66 near the Grand Canyon. Wonderful dinner - for less than $16 - we've paid MUCH more than that and this was by far the best. Good to see a good short order cook - rare finds today. Waitress was very good and friend. Great stop.
