“Annual visitor, the BEST RV option in Williams for a night, week, or month!”
Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

We started coming here for a weekend or two each summer. Then we decided to park the RV here for 3 months every summer. Great mix of seasonal regulars and travelers passing through the area. Sits along side the train tracks of the Grand Canyon Railway, which gives it unique charm. The owners take great pride in their facilities and are always seeking to improve guest experiences. Bathrooms & laundry are clean. Owners live on premises. Occasional group cook-off, ice cream social s, and movie nights. Staff provide free transportation to & from the Grand Canyon Railway station as well as other spots in town.

This was our very first RV experience and this park was great. The facilities were spotless. Somebody gave a low rating saying it is just a big parking lot. The trailer part is a gravel lot, but there is a great community area with tables, a fire pit, a stage for impromptu kids performances, a playground. Amazing waffles in the morning. The people running it were lovely and very nice and helpful. If everywhere we stay is as good as this, we'll have a great trip.

If you are stopping at Williams then this is perfect. In fact this was the best RV park we stayed in on our Route 66 trip. The husband and wife staff were perfect hosts and we felt quite at home. Well done to you both and good luck for thee future.

This RV park is a bare parking lot at the side of the train tracks and interstate. I'm not really sure why everyone was raving about it - strange. The owners are really nice, it's true, and very helpful with directions, recommendations or a ride into town. The noise from the freeway and the train was constant, but you got used to it. We didn't hear any trains blowing their horns while we were there, which was a relief. The continental breakfast was a waffle and a boiled egg, which was great, although there was no where to sit, so we eventually got tired of standing in their shop and asked if we could carry though a table from outside. Definitely not the best RV park we stayed in, but ok for one night!

This place is amazing,

Having stayed in plenty of RV parks along our journey from Minnesota, I can safely say that this is by far the best place we have stayed in.

We came straight here after doing a 6 mile hike of the Grand Canyon and their showers were such a welcome relief. Clean, great water pressure and roomy.

We were going to drive our motorhome into town to have a bite to eat, but were offered the use of their free shuttle service instead, now THAT is service! Pat drove us around the town pointing out the good places to eat and visit, and gave us a bit of the towns history, before dropping us off and he picked us up again after we ate, all we had to do was call him when we were ready to head back!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. When we checked in, the lovely Tamara informed us that there is complimentary breakfast, and this turned out to be such a treat, the make your own waffles are delicious!

This place is pet friendly, The wifi is the best that we have encountered on our entire trip, fast and stable, the cable selection is limited, but the picture clarity is excellent.

Such a clean and welcoming environment, I honestly can't speak highly enough of this place!

Room Tip: Make the most of the free breakfast, it finishes at 10am!

The Railside could be home. They have all the standards, of course, TV, store,....They also have an atmosphere you cannot believe. They have a lot of full time residents who make the atmosphere incredible. They have breakfast every day, a campfire every night. The residents do fabulous live entertainment. If you want to go to down for dinner, they'll give you a ride and pick you up. This is a wonderful place.

Great place to stay. Their bathrooms are the gold standard for RV parks. The owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied customers. The free continental breakfast was an unexpected but delightful bonus. Williams is a charmingly retro Route 66 town. Access via "blue highway" AZ 64.
