We went to check this out because after spending a few days in Yellowstone, Grand Tetons we failed to see a Black bear or grizzly. Not surprisingly to most people I'm sure, but we wanted to see a bear...so $50 later, we saw at least 8 black bears, big horn sheep, albino bison, wolves, bison. All in all it took about a half hours to drive through slowly. In retrospect, I would not pay the money again. We have zoo's back at home that are much cheaper.

My brother-in-law, visiting from San Francisco, read in the July 5 newspaper that this Park had a baby white Bison born on the 4th of July. Wanting to escape the Phoenix heat for a few hours (25 degrees cooler the day we went!), we decided to make the trip to see the baby. Have to admit, I thought it would be lame, and arriving near noon - I thought the animals would be napping. However, what we thought would be an hour drive thru - turned into a 4 hour enjoyable, BETTER THAN EXPECTED afternoon. We drove through the park once, spent two hours in the Fort Bearizona walking area, then took a second drive through the park. While we really enjoyed the bears and other animals, our mission was to see two day old baby Independence. It was awesome! The rest of the herd was being very protective.
We plan to return soon with our grandchildren.

Enjoy the cool pines when you visit this drive-thru wildlife park, all in a natural environment and from the comfort (and safety) of your vehicle. You more than two miles to view a good variety of animals roaming their area. Mt. Goats...very playful, white bison, article wolfs, tundra wolfs, burros Nd roaming black bears. Then at the end you get to walk through and enjoy baby bears at play, the barnyard, petting zoo or watch the birds of prey show. So much to see and enjoy...snake bar is good too!

Our family of 4 have just visited Bearizona. It was great, we were there to see bears and we saw lots of them as well as other animals. We especially loved the 3 baby bears playing and showing off. Fabulous few hours. Well done to everyone that works there.

Saw the sign off the highway as we were heading to the Grand Canyon. Decided to pull in and we were so glad. It is a great place for kids....old and young. Great animals, very clean and well planned out. Loved the wolves and bears being so close. Watched a wolf try to pull a tire cover off a camper....hilarious. $20 for adults and $10 for kids but we thought it was worth it. Really enjoyed it.
