My husband and I recently flew with Capt. Todd
to Las Vegas and back -- it was great! We left
from the Williams airport and enjoyed a smooth
ride and Capt. Todd's hospitality and great
pilot skills. He arranged complimentary
transportation from Henderson Exec. Airport to the
Strip for us. Two days later, he was waiting for
us and returned us safe and sound in about
75 minutes.

We are hoping to book a trip to the Skywalk with him
next month with my mom for her 70th birthday.
Definitely beats driving and
you can't beat the views!

After spending the first part of our Grand Canyon trip driving a TON, getting hooked up with Todd & Mountain Goat Air Tours was one of the best parts of our trip! Our family of four enjoyed the morning of the 4th of July with Todd enjoying Northern Arizona & the South Rim by air. Todd is extremely knowledgeable of the whole area & gave us stunning views of the Meteor Crater, Flagstaff, and the South Rim. We had spent the first part of our Grand Canyon trip at the Skywalk so did not want to spend the rest of our limited time driving to sites to see. Todd gave us a great experience we won't forget. We feel so lucky to have been able to book this at our hotel at the last minute & have all arrangements made for us as well. Thanks to Jen at the Embassy Suites in Flagstaff for all her help!
Thanks Todd!!

We recently had the opportunity to visit Williams, AZ and took , what we feel to have been the BEST , MOST AFFORDABLE and FASTEST way to tour the Grand Canyon area. We had planned to do the Sky Walk, South Rim and points in between. After contacting Mr. Todd Boyle at Mountain Goat Air Tour, we decided that to make the MOST of our time and to see everything we wanted to see and experience we decided to take the Cesna 206 air tour. Mr Boyle took us over Sonona, The Meteor, The Vocanos and of course most of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon with Excellent exposure of the Colorado River. Mr Boyle made sure he positioned the aircraft to allow incredible picture opportunities as well as wonderful visual viewing of all areas. Since safety was of great concern to us, we felt Mountain Goat provided us with as a professional, safe and secure viewing we could ever had imagined AND see what WE wanted to see without HOURS of driving, stopping and picture taking. What we did in over two hours of Flight time would have taken us OVER 8 hours of driving. The BEST bang for OUR BUCK WITH the experience of flying in a fixed wing air craft. I know the next time I am in the area, the first call I will make is to Mr. Boyle at Mountain Goat and Debbie at the local Fairfield inn in Williams to continue our experience and enjoyement of Mr. Boyles local knowledge of Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Always good to know when I have a professional taking care of us.

Earlier this month, my two sons and I were in need of some transportation to get from Las Vegas to Flagstaff and from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon back to Las Vegas. We were doing a rafting trip with Arizona River Adventures (AzRA) and needed this transportation pre-trip and post-trip. Our options included car rentals, but when one considers the duration of a single rental or the cost of two separate drop off fees, the cost (not to mention the burden of driving five hours each way) seemed unattractive.

We learned of MGAT through AzRA. My first call put me directly in touch with Todd, the owner and pilot of MGAT. We agreed to a fee of $500 that covered both legs of the trip for the three of us.

Upon arriving in Las Vegas, we took a $35 cab ride to Henderson Executive Airport where smartly-dressed Todd was waiting. He helped get our bags to the plane, took it upon himself to arrange ground transportation for when we arrived in Flagstaff and we were on our way.

The plane is small, but it fit our four bags and the three of us. My eldest son is 6'5" and the rest of us were no midgets, but we could get comfortable in the seats that were provided. Donning the earphones and mikes which allowed to to communicate within the cabin as well as hear all the chatter between numerour planes and the control towers was cool and added an extra dimension to the experience. The ride was smooth although at times it felt like we were sliding on an ice slick.

We arrived in Flagstaff after about 90 minutes of flying and Todd again made sure that we easily transferred to the awaiting ground transportation.

Upon our return, Todd was waiting at the South Rim airport as we crawled out of the Canyon. Others in our rafting group were visibly jealous of our arrangements. They were looking to board busses that would get them to Flagstaff at a time by which we would already be resting comfortably in our Vegas hotel. Some would not be able to get transportation until the next day.

The return flight was much like the first. Todd has a cooler with iced water and granola bars, but we did not partake. One of my sons dozed for most of the flight back to Vegas, where again, Todd had made ground transportation arrangements for us.

Looking back on all of the complex arrangemeents we needed to make in order to do our rafting trip, the arrangments with Mountain Goat Air Tours turned out to be the second smartest component of our trip. The rafting itself with AzRA was simply outstanding!
