The best way to see the Grand Canyon is on the Grand Canyon Railway. Food is great, entertainment is outstanding along with the service and friendliness of the attendants.

We had been to the Grand Canyon 30 years ago so we decided on this trip to take the train from Williams into the Grand Canyon area. We booked a package that included 2 overnight stays at the railway hotel in Williams as well as meals. We upgraded our train experience to include the dome car both ways. The trip begins with a cute cowboy show before you board the train. The train meanders through the landscape to the canyon. Our hostess on our car was very pleasant and informative. We also splurged on a bus tour on arrival at the rim of the canyon and it included lunch. We were so glad that we did as it was 106 degrees the day we were there. The bus driver was so nice and provided educational info about the canyon. The best part was that he took absolutely fabulous photos with us standing as close to the edge as we were comfortable! The passengers in the train were friendly as well. Although the cost was alittle pricey, it was well worth it as we had such a relaxing experience.

The Grand Canyon Railway offers a journey to help take the "long" out of the trip to the Canyon. It has good and clean service, helpful attendants and take good care of the passengers with food, drink, entertainment and information. A worthwhile and fun way to get to one of the great sights of the world.

Every person on and off the train was very polite and knowledgable. Our train attendant and bus tour driver were a hoot. Fully enjoyed our trip.

We traveled on a Saturday to the canyon with 2 small kids coach in the middle of summer. And it was great! Wasn't hot even tho there was no AC, not crowded so we got to choose where we wanted to sit on the way back! Our attendants name was "Kathy" and was so much fun! She loves her job and spent time with each child aboard, our kids had an experience to remember and so did we!
