We took the Grand Canyon Railway package to celebrate our anniversary, and had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Railway Hotel the night before the train ride, and we found it to be clean and very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The buffet dinner included in the package was ok...not great, but certainly one could find something they would like. The train ride itself was fun and we really enjoyed it. We took the bus tour following the train ride. I would pass that up next time. We spent the night at the Maswick Hotel. Sorry to say I was not impressed with this hotel. It is very dated and dark, and the room itself wasn't very clean, but it was just for one night, so it was ok. Again, I'd pass on this hotel and stay elsewhere. All in all, it was a nice little getaway for us.

Very clean hotel and grounds. Amenities were excellent. The room was immaculate and the beds comfortable. The train ride was unbelievable we all ( party of 4 adults) loved it. The Grand Canyon tour was awesome.

Every thing about our visit to the hotel was perfect! We purchased a package deal for dinner, breakfast, the hotel stay, and the train ride to the Grand Canyon and back. It was so much fun! The food was very good and every staff member that we interacted with was incredibly friendly! I have already told so many friends and family remembers about the experience and said that they should check it out if they are able to make their way to the Grand Canyon!

My husband and I took the Grand Canyon Railway via a First Class ticket for a day trip to the Grand Canyon in addition to the Freedom Bus Tour. We enjoyed our trip so much that we can't stop raving about it to family and friends. The seating in First Class is very roomy, clean, and comfortable. The singers that come through are fun and the snacks that you have both in the morning and afternoon are fresh and a nice treat to have. Our train/car attendant was Conyarae and she worked very hard to make the trip special, fun, and also educational.

This is, hands down, the best way to the the Grand Canyon. Even the town of departure, Williams, is absolutely adorable.
